Bleeding when pinning

So i've pinned alot in the past, sometimes theres a spot of blood, sometimes a few drops, other times nothing, no biggie. However when i pinned last night (glute) blood literally gushed out. I mean enough that i had it running down my leg and took a lot of gauze to clean up. anyone ever have that happen?

A matter of fact this happened to me this morning and I immediately logged onto eroids and shot a pm to one of my peeps on here (shout out to Nate) and was quickly assured I would not drop dead any minute, why we love eroids

AnonAlways take your prep pad, wrap the needle (is why we use 1.5"'s) and as you pull the rig out apply pressure to the pin hole for 30 seconds. Save gear and the mess on the wall :-)
this sounds brilliant. i guess i never thought ot do that... as pulling out needle, you wrap with alcohol pad, as to apply immediate pressure to the injection site? the simple things...

AnonYes my man. That site needs a rest. Only time I have had that is running short esters, hence pinning allot. Worse thing is your mgs are going to be off a little.
do you think the gear bleed out? it was a inch and half needle all the way in.
yeah you def lose some gear but not all... but dont worry about a re-shoot. wait until your next time around a pick another spot.. this was a common prob with me when i first started.
i noticed if im sure to dart the need in, and z track the injection... i rarely have bleeding probs... google z tracking if you havent heard of it before. good luck

i used the z track, i'm thinking i hit a vein on the way out or something because i aspirated the synringe and had no blood just a air bubble. was deff a new experience my wife almost fainted lol.
