Albuterol
A while back I asked about improving lung function and Albuterol was suggested. After doing a bit of research I've decided to get some. During my looking around I found a lot of posts on it, mostly questions and statements saying how anabolic it is. Some say more so or just as anabolic as clenbuterol, with less sides. Not too many posts about gains or fat loss though.
So, I've gotten it today. That is, after having to go to the post office to sign for it, which I wasn't happy about. I don't like having packages coming from overseas as it is, never mind having to sign for it.
I've been fighting a nasty virus for the past week or so, hence I haven't been to the gym or been able to eat right. Still on antivirals for another day and still feeling like shit, I won't take the pills until I can get back in the gym. But once I do, I'll keep you updated on how it is as far as strength, size, fat loss, and my number one reason for it, run times and breathing.
What I've got is 8mg slow released capsules. I'll start with one before gym time for a few days, up to two a day split for a few days, then going to 3 split for a few weeks, tapering back to one. It will last about 5.5 weeks.

cdaddy7It's not anabolic....It's effect is on smooth muscle not skeletal gentlemen....what part of this speaks of any anabolic activity or properties?
Albuterol is a beta(2)-adrenergic agonist. It stimulates beta(2)-adrenergic receptors. Binding of albuterol to beta(2)-receptors in the lungs results in relaxation of bronchial smooth muscles. It is believed thatAlbuterol increases cAMP production by activating adenylate cyclase, and the actions of albuterol are mediated by cAMP. Increased intracellular cyclic AMP increases the activity of cAMP-dependent protein kinase A, which inhibits the phosphorylation of myosin and lowers intracellular calcium concentrations. A lowered intracellular calcium concentrations leads to a smooth musclerelaxation. Increased intracellular cyclic AMP concentrations also cause an inhibition of the release of mediators from mast cells in the airways.
I have run a few short Albuterol cycles and found there to be little if any anobolic effects. The sides associated are fairly difficult to live with on a day to day basis and are very similar to speed or coke (misspent youth) As a fat cutter they do seem to be very effective and I noticed a drop in body fat of 1% in 2 x 10 day courses. I am a boxer and have to say they did nothing for my overall stamina on my daily 10k runs or sparring sessions. I hope this helps
Alright so I've been feeling a bit better, finished the antivirals and gotten plenty of rest, starting to get diet back in check. Started taking the albuterol last week. I've coughed a bunch of shit up, don't know if from the bronchodilator or still shit from being sick. My girl has asked me what's wrong, why am I angry, many times, I didn't realize how much of a dick I've been. My hands are vibrating. I've had panic attacks and heartburn. Eventually I had a constant headache for a few days. So I stopped.
Been off for a couple days, I'll start back on one tomorrow and slow the roll on upping the dosage. If these sides start again I'll be done with this shit. Haven't seen anything positive, just negative and it's only been a week.
Albuterol is a stimulant. It might help you cut but I doubt it will help you pack on any muscle.
Absolutely correct.
I'm not expecting much, if any, muscle size gain. It is said to be as, if not more, anabolic as clen, so I am expecting strength gains. It's more than just a stimulant, look into it some more. You posting that it's just a stimulant is the point of my post. I know everyone who knows a little about aas has heard of clen, and may know about inhaled albuterol, but like I said, I don't see much about use of albuterol instead of clen (even though from what I've been reading, it's better). So, I'm gonna let everyone know about my experience.
Hopefully it'll help me get back into a routine after getting over this sickness too.
Well that's interesting, I eagerly await your results. I have used albuterol inhalers in the past (not for asthma, just to boost my CNS sometimes, like before a run). If you see nice results, I might have to try to follow your routine.
Look at the doses as well. Inhaler dosages for patients are measured in mcg, tablets come in mg. The capsules I have are 8mg. I read somewhere the effective inhaled dose is 2 or 3 puffs, while anabolic effects can take place at 6 or 7 puffs. I don't know if I've got those number right, but you get the point.
