6 Weeks into first cycle, Should i take a week off exercising? Details inside

ad

Hi guys,

As stated im in my 6th week of my first cycle, 500mg Test- E a week and 30mg Dianabol a day, 0.5 arimidex eod.

This last week ive been feeling gradually more and more tired, I have been making huge gains in the gym and i dont know if my body cant keep up or just needs time to adjust.

I do olympic Weightlifting 3 x a week which usually lasts about 2 hours a training session. (Mon , wed and fri) on thursday i do benchpress, row and pull ups and on saturday ill do some additional stuff maybe curls chins etc.

In the first 4 weeks i had put on 24lbs, id seen an increase in every exercise daily. Squat up 25kgs in 4 weeks, benchpress up 5kgs a week, Snatch, Clean and jerk all increasing by 5kgs a week or more.

Last thursday just before the end of my 5th week i stopped the dianabol as i have become so bloated and had put on so much weight, i figured id just use the Test-E from now on and id still be happy.

However over the last week even tho my lifts have still been going up, im getting more and more tired. Resulting in today when for the first time since starting gear my lifts didnt go up, infact they went down slightly by a rep on my triples.

I don't know if this is because im overtrained and need a week off, as i do feel a lot of stiffness in lower back which is important in olympic lifting and finding it harder to recover from squats.

Do you think this is because i have came off the dianabol or because i need a small break from the gym or perhaps because my lifts have been going up so rapidly i need time to adjust?

Its disappointing because i was on track to hit my target maximums by the end of cycle but after today i am not sure i can get there.

Currently weighing in now at 101kgs, 5'11 , 28yo

Would have to agree get your bloods done to see how your system is reacting. Everyone reacts in differently. With me I have a slight sensitivity to adex. At .5 every other day my Estogen crashed, oily skin and an over feeling of not tired but run down. (Cycle was 500 test-e per week for 12 weeks). Dialed back the adex to .25 eod and Estogen came back up to 45-50 range. Best of luck and talk to your Doc.

As long as u r getting bloods done, get a thyroid panel done. Other than some kind of over the top nutritional problem, the fatigue you are describing doesn't sound right. Keep your eyes focused on kidney function when you get the bloods back as well. Dbol shouldn't cause a problem but we are all different. Is your skin itchy?

Definitely get bloods. Get some water pills and drink a gallon of water per day. Prepare to pee.

There's no such thing as overtraining!!! SMH!! You need a blood test. More than likely your E2 is raised too high from the Dbol. .50 of Adex EOD will not keep Estro down if your sensitive.

Yea, i was aware a large part of it was water, thats why i stopped the DBol, as im into my 6th week now, i figured the test would be kicking in tho.

Olympic Weightlifting training does take around two hours tho, Its just the nature of the sport. You could cut down recovery time between sets and get out in 90 mins but its just not worth it, its better to get the rest and do the reps properly.

I have my macros worked out from iffm im only taking in around 170g of protien tho, ive read some studies on how much protien we actually need and i think a lot of people overdo it, i wouldnt usually takw 170g but am upping it because of the gear.

I started IF after i came off the Dbol, as its good for increasing your natural HGH. I still eat the same macros just in a smaller time frame. But maybe this is the problem. I was just hoping it wasnt because i came off the dbol because i was hoping the test would have kicked in now and been working

Get blood work done. Might be high or low e2 or you just might need that week off. How longs it been since you took a week? Remember steroids speed up the recovery of your muscles but not that of your CNS

Been around 10 weeks without a week off, 5 x a week. Usually im fine, but i think because im lifting so much more in such a short period of time that its whats making me tired, either that or because the dbol has stopped.

But like i said this is my 6th week on test-e so i figured that should kick in without the dbol. Also switching to IF could be a problem but i wanted to boost my hgh. maybe i should go back to normal eating method and have the weekend off and see how i feel on monday.

What's your diet like? Have you lessened calories? You'll need to increase them to support the muscle and strain your putting on your body. Sounds like you are not properly fueling yourself.

Ive started doing intermittent fasting, so training before i eat carbs which could be part of the problem, but im still putting on weight and i figured if my kcals were low i wouldnt be increasing weight and lifting more?

is your arimidex pharma grade?

mushtastic's picture

I don't know if its phamra grade, i got it from, the highest rated uk seller and the Test and Dbol seems to be legit as its bringing the strength up - Just checked the site doesn't say pharma grade, im curious tho, AI is the last thing id have thought off, why do you think to ask about it?

BawsDawg's picture

just thinking that some of the bloat could be from an under dosed or bunk AI

I was thinking the same thing. I had this happen to me on my first cycle. My so called "expert" friend gave me garbage ai. It resulted in huge estro problems. But I could be something else. The best thing you can do for yourself is get bloods done ASAP.
