Check my stats and tell me if i have a problem losing weight

ad

Hi, I am currently 15stone 10lbs. I am around 25% bf. I workout 4 times a week, 3 of them would be doing olympic lifting usually for 1.5 hours a session. For the last two weeks my diet has consisted of the following without fail

5:30am - cup of coffee, no sugar
6:00am - protien shake
40mcg of clen and (50mg) anavar
12:30pm - 2 bananas
5:30pm - protien shake
workout
7:30pm - chicken fillet and pasta or chilli with lean mince and two wholegrain pitas

Ive done this everyday for 2 weeks, in the first week i lost 3.5lbs this week im back up 0.5 lbs.
Same diet everyday non stop. No cheating no extras

My friend does not workout, he weighs less than me, has little to no muscle mass, he stil eats normal but he cut out having a fried breakfast every morning and doesnt eat 4 chocolate bars and 4 packerts of crisps a day now like he used to.

He would still have cereal for breakfast, crisps sausage rolls and chocolate bars for lunch and chips and sausages for tea, he does not work out, but has lost 16lbs in 2 weeks and he takes no supplements

how is this fair and how is this possible?

The huge issue here is there is not enough nutritional substance for the body to use properly in your personal body. Genetics are a key feature to this as well regarding your friend. As the old saying goes "abs are made in the kitchen not the gym". So, by what you have provided your body is in starvation mode or defense mode like "tonyulo" mentioned.

So, with the diet approached listed above you will cannibalizing most of the muscle you are working hard to retain vs burning stored body fat as energy instead if the muscle tissue. Try a more protein rich diet with mild complex carbs and simple carbs post work out. Kinda like the rubric below....

-8ounces of egg whites with 3/4 cups of steel cuts oats.
-protein shake watch sugars with the shakes under 3grams per serving.
-6ounces of lean meat with 1/2 sweet potato and 1 cup of any green vegetable.
-protein shake with some almonds...this is where carbs stop and we focus on clean fats.
-6ounces of any white fish with 1 cup of any green vegetable
-personally i love egg whites before cause of the digestion rate but you may do a shake.

hope this helps!

look at it this way coming from a competitors stand point. when we diet we slowly make changes and tweak things, do things too quick and everything can go to hell in a hand basket fast. when you drop your calories too low your body goes into defense mod , it starts to retain bf and to retain water , why you ask? well because your body will go into defense mode as if it was starving so it retains in survival mode. crash dieting does not work I do not care what anyone says and there are countless studies done on the human body by physicians that prove this. a balanced controlled diet with proper training and cardio win every time , crash dieting will also have a crazy rebound effect when you finally go back to normal eating , your body will absorb and hold as much as it can because it doesn't know when it will have food and water again.

How old are you?

Its called bounceback, your body is a wonderful thing that when it notices a deficit; it will start to conserve fat. Also your body type will play a role because no 2 peoples metabolism is going to be the same. Watch what happens when you drop the clen and gain it all back. Also you lose weight by eating more not by eating less, For example I was on a cutter and dropped from 220 to 200 in 3 weeks. Because of the rapid loss my body put back on 10 pounds and I am staying there. No change in diet either besides eating 8 times a day and I am staying at that weight.

I'm not one for believing in starvation mode, i have eaten more than this and i just gain weight. Ive read lots of fasting studies that talk about metabolic rate not being affected by fasting, eating less calories than you burn off should produce weight loss over a period of time, its impossible that it wont.

According to myfitness pal i should be eating around 2000 to lose weight I reckon i get around 1500 which isnt that much lower to cause my body to think its starving

I'm an idiot because i choose to believe a scientific study over you? Where is your peer reviewed papers?

and those studies are in a CONTROLLED environment and not believable, you are living proof of it and yet you still dont believe us? at 1500 calories you are starving your body PERIOD. you have to go only 500 calories below maintenance based on your activity level, current weight, and genetics. Not fitnesspal, thats a baseline not a factual program.
