What to do after opening vial

I'm confused with this. Obviously a first timer...
You have to pop the cap off which exposes a rubber cap that you inject through, correct? What happens after the first injection? do you pop the cap back on? Leave the rubber on? Do you wipe the rubber with sterile pads prior to each pin after? Should I be adding caps to my gear?

AnonYes. You put the cap back on. It should twist right on. If it doesn't, it means you got some bunk shit.

House I'm def. new but am taking this seriously so trying to research everything I can before I pin. I did intend that the rubber stay on. I was just referring to the plastic cap coming off. I will be sure to wipe everything, I'm stocking up on them ;)

Hey man better safe than sorry you don't want to get an injection that shit is awful.
I keep by bathroom clean as hell clean all the counters and floors keep the door closed and everything like that. Its being over cautious but having seen someone get staph before and getting hospitalized for it I don't take any chances.

Just be sure to wipe down before and after. The caps don't go back on, at least none that I've seen. Being sterile is the key. Use alcohol pads. Wipe down everything. And try to get in the habit of opening, drawing, and pinning in one smooth motion. Setting the needle down, or fumbling with things in between only increases chance of contamination. Don't rush it though. You'll get the hang of it
If you pulled off rubber....you're screwed! Only the lid comes off where center circle is

The cap usualy wont go back on, just be sure to whipe it with A sterile pad everytime u inject.
