Yeh i dont see Weidman beating anderson silva, i think Weidman is over hyped to be honest. He is very good yeh, but not to the point where he will take out the greatest martial artist of our time
Hate to say it pal but Floyd is p4p best to be fair he just makes it look easy! I would love canelo to get through his defence and spice up the boxing world a little. lol. What the sport needs is ages decent heavyweights the klitscko brothers bore me to death! We need anew Tyson ! Lol. And whilst on the subject how the hell does b-hop do it? I thought id sermon best of him ten years ago but still he keeps bangin with the best! Respect! Technically oneof the best, bit of a dirty bastard with the sly tactics but if it wins fights, it wins fights!

He has done and is doing what Ali did, putting people in the seats by making most dying to see him get an ass beating. That makes him a business genius in my book. Because he is such a great fighter that his fights are some of the worse to watch imo as far as a good old Gatti vs Ward deal. As far as Maywhether as a person and his faults well who doesn't have them. You can hate the guy if you choose but you cannot deny his business and fighting ability supremacy without throwing away the facts.
i'm a big fan of Floyd's lifestyle and him as a person. I love the cockiness and flash! but I hate how he cherry picks who he fights. He fights small or post prime fighters.This fight will show how good he really is. Canelo can hit, that's his only way to win, by hurting Floyd early. Broner gets hit too much, he's gonna lose to Paulie next month.. cant wait!
i agree 100% its been a really long time since floyd had an opponent worth talking about who wasnt on the decline and wasnt cherry picked based on his beatable skills versus floyds talents. everything about his boxing and his career to me has become a joke because of this. you cant pick an opponent based on the fact you are going to win, this is what caused the down fall of boxing. people realized the politics and lost interest.
The downfall of boxing started long before Floyd. But that right there is exactly why he will retire undefeated. As hyped up as ppl get for these fights, they don't realize that he will never put someone in front of him that will pose a real threat. That's why he would never fight Martinez. Martinez would be a nightmare to Floyd. Styles make fights. You could be the greatest fighter to walk the earth but here is always that one guy who has your number or who's style you can't keep up with. There isn't anything conventional about him. There are still good old school fighters out there. You just have to know how to read between the lines of the hyped up ones. Boxing is always gonna be my first love. The fans have a valid point with the way the politics have taken over and shit all over the sport. But every now and then we get to see a real fight. Like Berto v Guererro. I can't get past the rolling around on the floor half naked and sweaty with another dude. I enjoy a good MMA fight as much as the next guy. But when it's just a wrestling match. Eehhhh! Maybe I just have a bias because of my own life experience.

Alvarez has a better chance of seeing a dinosaur. Listen, I know you all hate Floyd. I get it. He's a cocky prick and needs his clock cleaned. It ain't happening. He has the most unbelievable natural ability I've ever seen in a fighter. Adrian Broner is a close second. It's like poetry in motion. His defense is the best the sport has ever seen. It's called the "Philly Shell" defense. Shoulder roll with lead rights. It's fucking lethal. Every part of the body is protected. The lead shoulder protects the chin. The lead hand (jab hand) protects the body and the power hand is up around the chin. With the natural boxing skills he possess, it's a shock anytime he gets hit at all let alone hit for power. Canelo will make it interesting because be takes so many risks. But that will be the start of his demise. Floyd doesn't make mistakes. And he's the best counter puncher in the game. I see a wipe out! Total domination. Canelo will get frustrated and try throwing the money punch, it will cost him badly. He might even get knocked out. Floyd doesn't knock guys out anymore because they don't take too many risks with him. This kid Alvarez is young and cocky. He will and he will pay! He will lose a decision if I was putting money on it. Don't count on Mayweather ever losing a fight. It's not gonna happen. There isn't anyone who can contend unless Broner really comes up fast.
