Competitors: Do you drop test going a show?
What’s up guys. I’ve got 8 shows under my belt and am 3&6 weeks out from my 9th and 10th my 10th will be a shot at my pro card so I’m pushing the envelope a bit here (please keep that in mind)
I’ve ran test into shows, long ester, short esters, I’ve dropped it out days and sometimes 2-3 weeks prior to competing.
In your experience as a competitor, do you find you have a better look when you drop your test out? Or do you find keeping some in helps your look?
My last show I dropped out my test c about 20 days out and I won the overall at that show in MP.
Current cycle:
Mast E 1050mg / week
Tren Ace 350mg / week
Test C 350mg / week
Winstrol 50mg daily / just increased to 100mg daily 3 weeks out.
Adex .25mg daily
Clen 80mcg daily
Hgh 3-5iu daily
Halo on hand I ran it at 20mg 2 weeks out last show and it helped that final push at the end of prep.

Which worked better for you?
That's the one you stick with. It doesn't matter works for anyone else as we all react differently to various compounds, diets, training, recover methods.
You'll even react different at different ages to different compounds so best to keep notes of what worked and the look you liked best!

OP, when you won that most recent overall was that your best look to date? If so then doing something similar is probably recommended.
I’d also ask for the judging feedback when you won the overall, where was there room for improvement, be it more conditioning or more size to dictate the next steps. Usually guys who are fuller and have a harder time getting tight will see benefit pulling it out to drop water a bit. Usually guys who nail the condition but run a bit flat should keep it in more but it’s going to depend on each individual.
I love your cycle, thats basically what I ran into my last show and delivered my best look. I swap primo for mast and cut the tren in half but pretty much the same.
I don’t use any arimidex on cycle and definitely wouldn’t need it stage lean on that stack, did your coach tell you to take it?
If you’re 3 and 6 weeks out and your pro show is the second it does give you the option to do the first on full doses and see the result then adjust for the second.

I feel like I come in pretty crisp but yes I think I could use some fullness still to have more pop to my physique I think I’ll keep some test in around 175mg / week at least for this first show. Conditioning is pretty much there now , now it’s just all about maintaining my look and we might be able to dig in just a little tighter before peak week. Don’t wanna do anything too drastic now.
I’ll keep the ship straight and ride things mostly how they are for now then reassess for my pro qualifier

The head games are a bitch, they can ruin your look pretty quick. Having and trusting your coach completely really helps. Being ready early, like 2 weeks out and then lowering overall diet and training fatigue into the show is ideal.
Then when all the guys backstage are hammering candy and pumping themselves into oblivion you’re just sitting there with your bottle of water, zen state, waiting to win.
