Realistic goal/mentor help
ad
Good evening,
I am a 33 year old male who has not been working out for some time now. I decided to get back in the gym today December 4th. I weighed in at 145lb this morning.
I am looking to reach 170lb by February 1st, is this a realistic goal ? I will be doing this naturally just working out and eating tons of food. Would anyone be willing to help me put together a solid diet / workout in the messages ? Any help is much appreciated

There are bunch of good articles here, check these out
You’ve detailed your BF as “sub 5%”. Are you sure about that? It would be very unusual for someone who isn’t about to step on stage to be walking around at that level of body fat. I’m obviously trying to ensure we are clear on where you’re currently at to help.
Realistically 20 pounds will take 6 months natural. Thats of you haven’t worked out in a while. After that it’s harder because your body only wants to weigh so much.
Supernova283You are not going to be able to put on anywhere near 25lbs of lean muscle mass in 8 weeks.
Can you get to 170 by feb 1st? Yes for sure but almost all of it is going to be fat.
Natural bulking is 500 calories over tdee. It’s roughly 1lb a week and if you work out, eat clean, and sleep well for 8 weeks you’ll probably get about 5 pounds of lean muscle mass.
These things take time. Even with anabolic steroids these things take longer than 8 weeks. Have some patience. After a while you’ll really like what you see in the mirror, but you need to stay consistent even though the progress is slow.
