+ 1 Noobie PIP need some advice
I am a newb to running any AAS. The cycle I am going with is super simple 300mg test e for twelve weeks (mon and thurs 150mg inject). Im using a 25g 1 inch syringe and injecting .5ML of a 300mg/10ml concentration of Test E into my vent glute. It was the first time I've ever done this so I was shaking like a MF'er and was honestly nauseous doing it Lmao!!. I. was very sterile. I washed my hands thoroughly. Put my gear in some shallow warm water to warm the oil up(temp of water was 96 ish). I also drew with a different needle and swapped to do the actual injection. The entire time I rested the alc pad on top of the rubber stopper, waited for the alc to evaporate on the stopper before I drew btw. Washed hands again before injection, swabbed the site and stuck it in slowly. Now I made the mistake of taking my hand off the syringe and no bullshit it rotated in the fucking muscle. like almost spun around lol.i then injected but I felt I went way too fast like under 10 seconds or so then pulled it out kinda fast as well. Now it is Saturday 5 days later from Monday and it feels like I have a knot in the injection area and soreness around it. Temp normal, no redness, I feel fine overall not fatigue, solid workouts everyday since. the second injection on my left was honestly really great although I went too fast again. pip on that side from Thursday isn't too bad at all. very manageble so im happy I was able to at least improve.
Another thing to note I did a leg day 3 days after on Thursday while I had pip there and I did 315 on squats for 5 sets of 10-15 rep. 315 on rdl for 5 sets same rep range etc etc. stretched it out and the next day. MY goodness it was fucking worse. I can walk but I honestly am a little slow doing so and the more I walk the looser it is thanfully. Im wondering if I aggravated it by going hard on my legday(also shook as hell that leg day after pip was really good like that).
the overall question is should I be worried about this? any thoughts on how to improve next time from more experienced guys?

So, this is my first time posting and I hope I'm at least in the right place! I'm wondering about glutathione IM injections. Gave my husband 200mg in 1ml with 1 inch needle in his quad yesterday. Right away it was extremely painful, pain got worse over the next couple of hours. Had him ice it off and on for a while. This morning the whole general area is a bit swollen, no redness but still painful. Now, I'm an RN so I'm confident in my injection technique just wondering if this is common with glutathione and if anyone can recommend a better approach. We got this from a source that was new to us but seems reputable. I know IV infusion is the most effective route but I don't know about doing that with "for research only" stuff. So I guess I'm mainly wondering if IM glutathione is just always super painful because I can't seem to find much info anywhere. Thanks so much for any help!
Thanks everyone for the advice. Been getting some minimal pip as of late. And whoever suggested outer quads is the GOAT.
So I read through most the comments here and figured I’d add that the 300mg/ml may be your culprit on top of virgin muscle. Next cycle try a 200mg/ml dosage and see what you get, I’m currently running 200mg/ml and have virtually no pip.
With that being said, a few ways I’ve found to kinda ease up the pip is to either warm compress the area, taking a warm bath/shower and massaging the area for 2-3 minutes after initial injection.
Another thing I’d like to add is to run your syringe under warm water(with the compounds in it) before injecting. I’ve found doing these things sets me up for an easy post injection, first time pinning I got PIP and it felt like a train hit my leg. Now I can go about my day like normal afterward.

RustyhookerMassaging csuses scar tissue buildup. Oil bolus in your muscle then your massage squishes it thru the otger areas.

Also make sure you’re leg is relaxed before pinning, if you’re tense you’re definitely gonna feel it lol
I actually have some 200mg test Cyp I may roll with at some point. I’m 24 hours after pinning my outter quad and it’s honestly not bad. I actually think the difference maker was how slow injected and heat application to. But I could be wrong
I aim to push 1ml over about 30 seconds, personal preference I’d assume but it works for me. Also just curious what size are you using to pin? I like 25g 1” myself. There’s some good forums and threads I’d consider reading into about what you’re using to pin.

AnonI got a suggestion. Give your glutes a break.
Pin your quads. It's simple. You do it sitting down, on the couch is fine. Your thigh is relaxed, supported by the couch, and not moving. It's a very stable postion and you hands are right infront of you. You can see what you're doing.
25g 1in needles that you have are perfect for quads.
And you won't make the mistake of letting go of the syringe because your hands will be in front of you. It's so easy. Watch a YouTube video (there's lots of them) about how to inject quad. Center of the quad or outter quaf. Never inner quad because thats near the femoral artery. Then hot pad or soak in a hot bath will help some.
No shame being new to pinning. Most of us were new to needles too when we ran our first cycle and scared to pin ourselves. Making the girlfriend or bro pin our glute lmao
Always halved up from me knee, halved down from my groin . Not center quad but the outside . But, you’re saying I can pin that middle quads muscle 90 degrees

Scar and some pip I’m really keen on my quads but they need a rest , what I’m gathering is atleast get the oil somewhere in a thicc area of the quad mid or side just not crotch, (don’t know tech names for these muscles)

Without anyone to pin my glutes I have a hard time pinning and my obliques start cramping mid push, I then tend to hold my breath and then start shaking the needle inside my butt causes her to bleed everytime.

if you a hit a nerve do you feel it while the needle is entering? I read you get a burning sensation and muscle goes numb

I'd rather smash my thumb with a hammer than hit a nerve in my quad. I have had needles fly out of my hand from the spasm in the muscle after hitting a nerve.

25g 1" It is that first 1/2 - 3/4" in when I hit nerves.
Im wondering if there is a way to tell if you will hit nerve prior to penetration. I think maybe applying some very firm pressure may help? I could be wrong but logically it makes sense to me.

honestly the pip isn't that bad. its more of a stiffness and soreness that if I move around improves.

Back of quads at 3:00 bout inch above edge...hurts like mfer for me. Too many nerves.
Intermedius and 2pm spot good at center plus 3in up or down to give multiple spots when running ed pins for 16weeks.
So top middle, I used to pin there in 2018 and assumed I was doing it all wrong. I keep seeing outer middle, but I’d rather pin intermedius top middle.. 90 degrees??

RustyhookerI hit nerve in ventros on my 2nd cycle. Didnt hurt but glutes bottom to top went full flex. Finished pin and pullout was....well.....22ga shaped like fish hook. Damn think was bent! Gave a bruise yoo of course

Also this is something I should have mentioned. I pinned my glute after the gym not before. that probably didn't help lol
Adding to what shred told you about pinning legs… it’s easier when you first get out of a hot shower because it loosens the leg muscle up.
AnonBlood flow helps. But never massage the injection site after, makes pip worse. I like to pin before workout too.
I think ill do my vastus before leg day on Monday. Sounds good shouldn't be too bad! I'll just say a prayer before hand

As for the quads I figured that would be the easiest as I can literally see everything im doing and use one hand to hold the skin firm and other to inject etc. I guess the only issue is what I heard is some really bad pip from that one. Fortunately I WFH mostly so I don't have to run around.
AnonYou're only pinning .5mL at a time and I find, well for me anyway, that the volume of gear being pinned plays a big role in the cause of pip in quads. If I go over 2mL of anything in my quads I get some pip. So if you're like me then that .5mL of Test E 300mg/mL will be a breeze in your quads bro. It won't be worse than glutes. Give it go. It's good to have more than glutes to pin. Glutes and quads give you an easy 4 location rotation bro

AnonI think with .5mL it won't be bad. The pip is diffrent there but not worse than glute pip imo
when you are hitting the vastus lat are you squeezing or pulling the skin back? I would imagine pulling the skin and keeping it tight.
