Dialing in my diet
So I've learned with my current BF% I'm going to hold off on a cycle. So I'm 6'0 255lbs I measured myself with calipers and the math doesn't really help I have a tighter bigger chest and legs were hard to get a clamp on. I hold most of my fat in my belly and on my hips. So that being said I wanna get myself trimmed up and ready for a cycle. I've done a couple cycles of Test E in the past not knowing what I know now. That being said I am pretty decently strong from the cycles and have a good frame of muscle underneath I unfortunately have the stomach to go with it cause I didnt know how to diet right. I use the macro factor app. I read Makwas post about calculating everything and if I calculated right my macros are 500g of protein 127g of fat and about 250g-255g carbs is what the app generated for me. I'm thinking I would be rather lean at about 210-215lbs and that is what I programmed into the app. I do my gym routine Monday Wednesday Friday which is High Intensity Training. That seems to work really well for me and I've been getting stronger and progressing in weight for the exercises of my routine. I do steady state cardio and an occasional HIIT cardio session on my off days from the gym. I really need help idk what I'm doing and need something tailored to me. I just started this so is what im doing right??? I want to retain as much muscle as I can so when I'm ready for a cycle I can reach a new level rather than do a super harsh cut and then cycle and end up where I am now muscle wise. I understand I will have some muscle loss with cutting and I've accepted that. So if someone can help me understand how to diet and figure out a good plan for me to get the best of both worlds as much as possible so I can begin a journey of bodybuilding I would really appreciate it. Thank you for reading and have a good day!

All you must do is cut the carbs and stay consistent with the cardio, if you want to shed the last little bit of fat. It is virtually impossible to retain muscle and lose fat simultaneously. Even mass monsters who compete in the Olympia lose some muscle during their contest preps, irrespective the copious amounts of exogenous hormones they are taking. How can you tell your body to grow in size and lose weight at the same time? It doesn't work that way. You can minimize the amount of muscle you lose during a cut, if you dial your macros in properly, in particular if you increase the amount of protein you consume. It is better to ingest more protein during a cut as this will serve to retain a positive nitrogen balance. But you are still going to lose some of your size and strength. The good news is that you can add more muscle during your next bulk, meaning there is still room for progress.
