Training a week after testing negative for covid.

Is it just me or is post covid training taxing on your body. Ive been getting hot flashes and midway through a set i get fatigued as if I just ran a marathon, am I needing to breakout of something? Work harder? Layoff for a bit? Or power up with new gear? Any recommendations will do! Lettsss Goooo!

Powering up with new gear would definitely NOT be your answer.

You are still recovering. The harder you push the longer it is going to take to fully recover. You are also putting more stress on your body which is catabolic and counterproductive to building muscle. Reduce load and volume until you feel better.

I ran out of gas in less than 45 min. Powered through it

For myself, laying OFF the cardio helped. I cut my workouts shorter and just went until I started to feel the chest tightening. I’m two months post and still feel terrible after 45 mins.

My training sessions after the first time I got Covid felt awful for up to a month afterwards, I felt constantly out of breath and things just felt very tough. You do get over it but it is strange. After the later strain I got it didn't affect things at all. I know some people though who had it so badly that 6 months later their body was still a wreck and they are now on life long medication for complications it caused.
