Tone without losing muscle
ad
Hi Everyone,
I am the stage where I want to start toning and losing a few pounds of fat. However, I don't want to lose the muscle I have gained, how do I avoid this?
Best regards,
Luke

1 gram of protein per lb of bodyweight
Good strength training program
Not too deep of a deficit
8 hrs of sleep per night
Should be golden. If you're very lean you still might lose some but usually what you lose comes back a little easier than when you first gained it. Also anabolics prevent muscle loss.
This is exactly what I was thinking
Thanks for the advice!

Eat at a very low calorie deficit over a long period of time.
The higher your calorie deficit the more muscular atrophy you will experience. Steroids will of course lower the amount of atrophy and you could potentially gain muscle while losing fat depending on your experience level and fat percentage.
Very hard to give you any more without more information.
Thanks mate, extremely helpful and informative. I am doing a Test cycle now so hopefully that will help.
