Tennis elbow

ad

Anyone have advice how to ease the pain with this? I’ve dealt with it for over a year but it’s getting to a point where it’s unbearable. Thanks

I know the pain you are going through all to well! After about 6 months of dealing w the pain I went to my Orthopedic doctor and got cortisone injections. A couple days later the pain was gone. I eased myself getting back into the gym, and now just be more mindful of certain exercises that could make it flare back up, but for me the injections helped.

Meloxicam. You can thank me later.

Most tendinitis injuries can be majorly improved with isometrics. I’ve never had tennis elbow, but I’ve had jumper’s knee. Same thing different joint. Not only are isometrics anaesthetic, but they can help improve tendon loading to help with your rehab. Contrary to popular “RICE” belief, just resting tendinitis only makes it worse. You have to continue to put load through it in a progressive overload manner that keeps you in the 3/10 pain scale or lower.

Completely agree - when I get it in my shoulders it seems to heal quicker when I lift light loads rather than doing nothing at all. I think its to do with stimulating blood flow through the area as normally its so poor in tendons, so increased bloodflow brings more nuirents and proteins to the area.

Yeah buddy. I can't figure nothing out for it but just rest it and let it recover it best it can
