unfriendmeI make sure to do core exercises like planks, crunches, and Russian twists at least 3 times a week. I also focus on eating a balanced diet with plenty of protein and healthy fats to fuel my workouts.
Lift4Gift1987Training abs 2-3x per week with progressive overload just like any other muscle has made a huge difference for me ! I have much better abs even at higher body weights than before. Also train your obliques, people neglecting that and think your waist gets big is complete bullsh***. These muscle are so small they can’t grow in a way to make you look wide. Maybe when you naturally have wide hips but then you will look wide even without trained obliques.
Stomach vacuums can also help for controlling your waistline.
Pretty much only exercise I use is the hanging knee raises. I also try to contract my abs with every set I do during all other work outs.
Planks working fine for me.... And yes, I hate them LOL
I've never been a fan of planks
So am I, it is like medicine, it has a horrible "taste" but it works....
Vacuums bro. Start working them in.
DreamlordThis is the best
I need to. I guess I'll take a note pad with me to chart my add-ons after my work out schedule for conditioning
I would work them in before training, 3 days a week. They’re exhausting lol. Start just leaning over on something so your hip flexion is a little greater than 110deg. Shoot for say 10 second holds if you’ve never done them before. Followed by 20 seconds rest. 5 mins. Then planks. Solid core workout there imo.
RealizeRealLiesDiet...lol not fun answer but true... some hiit on the stairmaster is always good too
Ah I was hoping to see other answers besides diet but of course it's #1 all over the internet lol
You’ve always been lean despite bulking so what’s your secret lol.
Lmao. Thats a really good question *wink
