Tren (a 19-Nor Nandrolone derivative) for bones and joints?

ad

Probably asked before, but....
It's now pretty well established that nandrolone (Deca/NPP) is beneficial for bone density and healing and probably for joints, maybe tendons. (* enter the first roid rager to disagree.... * )
But what about Tren? I can't find any serious literature that tells me whether similar benefits can be had from Tren. As it is part of the nandrolone family, I'd say it possibly/probably could. Does anyone know, either from literature or experience?
I'm struggling with both tendon and bone (hairline crack) in my forearm and have tried BPC, TB, MOTS-C, GH peptides, calcium (+D3 and K2), collagen. Rest. Nothing seems to work. It's been 2.5 months now, since I slid down a flight of marble stairs.
I have a prolactinoma, so don't want to do Deca. Don't have NPP, but have some Tren left over from experimentation. I hate it, but thought maybe at a low dose it could be beneficial in this instance.
Any thoughts?

Unfortunately time is that key. It's not something that heals within a couple months. Shit could take a full year. Due to fighting I would constantly break my fingers. I broke the same one 3 or 4 times in a year lol. Due to me not taking it easy. It healed kinda crooked once I actually let it heal properly. Supplements can help but nothing like good ol' rest.

Broke my hand like 2-3 months ago. Found out it takes a whole ass year or even more for it to fully heal with no pain. Benching sucks, it hurts. Hell, pushing anything hurts. Back day, it hurts. Pretty much any upper body sucks, with a hand that’s healing from a break. Doc said it’s okay to lift, just know your limits. Hopefully you recover fast brother! Nothing can stop the pain btw, unless you wanna get hooked on some pain meds which would suck.

At least you fell down the stairs. I’m the kind of idiot that falls up the stairs! . I have left shoulder damage and I’m seriously considering physical therapy. I’ve heard some good things about sports therapists for injury specific conditions. Before I investigate key hole surgery. I’ve adapted my stretching routine which has helped a lot but that’s a joint issue. I still even have slight numbness on my other side from a trapped never 18 months ago. A hairline crack is completely different issue.
Feel better my friend.

In terms of the hairline crack in your forearm and other possible injuries I can't comment on that, but in terms of sore tendons from heavy training where the muscle is connecting to the bone Trenbolone absolutely helps them to heal and grow back stronger. Its one of the main reasons I use to love running the stuff because I could heal muscle in 2 to 3 days without tren, but tendons depending on where they are can often take me twice as long. Adding tren into the cycle I could halve recovery time. It works because it increases IGF-1 which is responsible for tendon growth, same as why HGH helps tendons and joints also. Obviously the problem with Tren is its unhealthy and you shouldn't really run it for more than 8 weeks, but with the HGH you could stay on it a longer time. To increase IGF-1 though with the tren you do need to be running it at a moderate dose and not low. There are many good IGF-1 products on the market too nowadays which may help, I haven't run these yet though.

Tren isn't going to fix any of that. Rest and time are your best friends for that.

Deca and NPP are the same compounds, just different esters attached to each one. One is long the other is much shorter, making it faster acting in comparison . Tren also raises prolactin just like Deca/NPP, hence why caber is suggested to combat sides. You mentioned having prolactinoma, Tren would not be wise as I stated due to possibility of worsening your condition. I highly recommend doing some more research into these compounds so that you are truly aware of what you are considering to inject your muscles with. Good luck

Vansculvo's picture

Thanks for taking the time to state the obvious. I wouldn't consider deca because of its long half life. Once injected, you're stuck with it for a while. Tren A would be much shorter. And I did say I had researched and experimented with Tren and know I don't "like" it, but if it could be the thing that finally fixes my arm....
I do have a pile of Caber (on prescription) handy and have done more research on everything than most people, but can't find anything scientific (which is not entirely surprising of course) on Tren. Hence, my question was whether anyone knows through whatever way (research I have failed to find or personal experience) whether it does share the bone/joint benefits with nandrolone.
No matter, I have decided to give low dose NPP a go for a week or 2 and see how that goes.

Snarky, aren't we?

Are you looking for some sort of medical report? Good luck. Why don't you see if you can find a connection between Tren and the improvement of bone and joints in cattle?

You probably already found your answer but don't want to accept it. I would guess, that if you've searched High and low, and can't even find bro science to support your thesis. Then the answer is, regrettably, no.

However, here's something you might try if you have the discipline for it.

I had shingles almost 2 years ago that left lasting nerve damage/pain in my left eye and forehead. I'm currently on day 19 of a 30 day fast. Last week those areas faired up and the discomfort was more pronounced than usual. Today there is no pain/discomfort around my eye and the forehead has dramatically subsided. This was completely unexpected. A little unrelated research on fasting and I found this little gem of info posted below that might help explain why... of course, this could just be confirmation bias and not related at all.

Stage 3 (Day 8 to Day 15)
You will experience enhanced energy, clear-mindedness and feel better. On the downside, old injuries may become irritated and painful. This is a result of the body’s increased ability to heal during fasting. If you had broken your arm 10 years before, there is scar tissue around the break. At the time of the break, the body’s ability to heal was directly related to lifestyle. If you lived on a junk-food diet, the body’s natural healing ability was compromised. During fasting, the body’s healing process is at optimum efficiency.

I've also read that fasting tremendously increases natural HGH levels too. Good luck with the rest of your fast!

Wow Greg, that’s quite an accomplishment. I had to do 14 day water fast for mercury poisoning. Do you have a Daily log ? Would you consider posting up a forum topic on your experience ?

Greg's picture

I don't but that link I posted has been pretty much on the mark.

I monitor my blood pressure every day and it's low normal, I'm energetic, no food cravings. Have a great sense of wellbeing. Sleep better at night.

I drink mineral water, take multi-vitamins and make sure I get salt, potassium, and other electrolytes.
Just before I start to eat again, I'll be drinking prebiotics, and probiotics to get my gut ready for digesting food again.

Christ mate how do you do a Water Fast? Does that not make you feel terrible, cotton mouthed and headachy?

Honestly, I rather that than what I was experiencing in the sense of side effects. Everytime I ate anything I had an intense metallic taste along with my throat feeling like it was going to collapse due to lymphatic drainage. It was quite painful and I had throbbing pain throughout my body along with some cognitive issues. Thankfully no long term effects but every now and then, if my body is too acidic, the metallic taste comes up with flaring of my lymph nodes through the neck.

Did you get Mercury poisoning from drinking water?

No, from eating tile fish along with other fish that was labeled in Portuguese which I didn’t know contained high mercury count. There’s a large Brazilian population where I’m located so majority of the labels are in Portuguese but I should’ve known what the hell I was eating. I was pescetarian for a long time when before this happened then I had to become raw alkaline vegan for about 20 months. I don’t have social media and I didn’t do it for Brownie points, I did it for health. I went from 190lbs to 158lbs lol. It was a long journey, then I was slowly gaining the weight back and then Covid Happened and was off for 2 years which included an accident. I’m back to 210 now but a little high in BF. I’ll get there eventually.

You are going to be highly disappointed with hoping Tren/NPP/Deca will fix the tendon/bone hairline crack in your forearm. If anything, it might just make it worse. Time and adequate rest as Makwa suggested can truly heal that.Sorry to state the obvious again, but if you have prolactinoma, why would you even risk it with NPP/Tren...compounds infamous for prolactin issues? In the end, it's your body, what you wish and take care.
