Responding poorly to test E 400mg/ML
Hoping to get some guidance here… I recently picked up some test E 400 from a new trusted source on this forum and unfortunately I’m getting some god awful PIP inflammation, redness at the injection site and “test flu” I’ve been on this test for 5 weeks now just pushing through telling myself that it will get better and I will adjust. It has not gotten better if anything it has gotten worse. Flu like symptoms poor sleep and pip that has affected my training for the worst. I pin glutes quads and delts in a rotation that gives my muscles a break. Is it possible that I just respond poorly to the carrier oil? The carrier oil on the vial lists MCT oil. I have never had this problem with any test. I’m used to running test that comes in 300mg/ML concentrations and that rarely gave me pip and if it did it was the rare circumstance that I hit a nerve/ didn’t administer properly. Any insight guidance is appreciated. I’m pretty bummed out because I have heard nothing but good things about this source and don’t want to waste money lol.

400mg is rough. Might have better results from 250mg. Most named labs carry 250mg.
No shit, its 400mg Test E. That's like drinking the whole bottle of vodka and then being surprised you got drunk. Is that testosterone didn't hurt then it would be fake or underdosed

gianbatteThat sounds rough, man. Since you suspect the MCT oil, maybe try diluting that batch with some sterile, USP-grade MCT oil to bring the concentration down a bit? Or, have you considered subq injections? Some guys find that helps with PIP.
You dont have to toss it. I was using 300mg/mL Test E from a reputable source and got PIP from the high concentration of solvents. I diluted it down to 150mg/mL with USP grade MCT oil. No issues and no PIP with it. I suggest simply diluting it on a per dose basis in the syringe.
I want to try diluting it yes but I am more leaning towards the EO in high concentration test giving me the crazy side effects/flu like symptoms/ immobility at injection site
Gotcha. Just trying to salvage the gear rather than tossing it. Suppliers are falling on hard times and Test E isn't as available as it once was. Maybe try a dose diluted to 100mg/mL and do Sub Q injection? Might help control damage if the EO is still the problem.

If it's got a red /black label colour scheme and a white top, a name along the rhymes of parachutes and has a slightly yellow tinge to the oil inside, it's a well documented problem of the 400 product - Horrific product imo
People might tell you to dilute it with another oil, cut the injection each and every way, bla bla bla - I'd chalk it up and cut it off, wouldn't keep using it personally - Just putting yourself through misery
Stick to 300mg concentrations
I have decided to not put myself through misery anymore and will revert back to my old source at 300mg/ML to avoid the sides and EO. I guess that’s what I get for trying to fix something that isn’t broken
Doubt it’s the MCT oil. That’s among the best and smoothest carrier oils. It’s the high MG test. 300mg/ml test that you’ve ran in the past does not compare to 400mg/ml. High Mg gear always sounds great in theory. Way less volume to inject. But it’s almost always very painful so I avoid it. If you’re still getting these sides 5 weeks in I doubt it’s going to get better. That’s enough time for the body to get used to it.

Test 400 is brewed w/ EO(ethyl oleate) to hold the higher concentration. I've been running high mg/ml gear for years and it's actually become an issue now where it wasn't in the past. Best way is to draw it up in the same syringe with any other regular dosed gear. Thats enough to thin it out. But if the EO is your issue then even if you dilute it 50/50 you'll still get local & systemic imflamation from the EO that can cause all types of crazy side effects until you finally realize you don't tolerate EO. Also if you switch to daily injections and start with 0.25cc - 0.5cc IM ED then you will tolerate it much better without having to dilute it at all. Just stick with regular dosed gear in the future. Long Esters (250-300mg/ml). Short Esters (100mg/ml). This should avoid running into gear with EO or Guaicol in it in the future.
Test E can and will hold at 400 mg without EO. Shit it even holds at 200 without anything but straight oil. No BB or BA.
After a little more research and reading your comment here I believe the EO is my issue giving me the crazy sides. Thank you for the knowledge
Ya EO is nothing but trouble. Even if you don't get the sides at first, you will, just give it time. It's the equivelant of injecting yourself with paint stripper, EO is a harsh solvent and should be avoided at all costs. Just one of those things we all learn the hard way. EO, Gauicol, PEG, etc... BAD NEWS
That was me with DHB. Hit week 6 and the inflammation started making it hard to inject. It snuck up on me slowly.

Anytime I buy Test I keep it to 300mg max, higher concentrations tend to do the same thing to me. Could also you be having a bad reaction to the gear if this isn’t the source you usually use. Try to dilute it like others have mentioned, 50/50 usually does the trick
That's some high concentration test. You taking anything else? Maybe try to dilute it down with sterile carrier oil, or mix with another compound.

That's not a bad approach. Probably either shelf the 400mg test until you have something else to mix it down with or pick up some sterile mct. Couple sources sell it on here. It's cheap as hell. Sort of defeats the purpose of buying high octane test tho. In fairness there's some guys that get ZERO pip from it. @rhino82 is a human tank that pins all kinds of 400-500 test no problem.

Yeah unfortunately leaning more towards switching back to what I have used and know works well with my body. Main reason I bought this test in the first place is because I’ve heard nothing but good things about MCT oil as a carrier and less oil volume. Oh well live and learn right?
I wouldn't give up on it yet buddy. @Aggieguy had a good point in heating it up also. I always heat before I pin.
Don't throw it away. I'm sure down the line you will have something to mix it with. But don't go and suffer either. Try heating it up first.
Hey just checking in. I tried heating up the 400mg/ml test and all I gotta say is wow…. What a difference much smoother and no pip/lumps. I can’t believe such a simple trick works this well. Thank you for the tips

Just run warm water over the vial, draw the oil, then pin? Simple as that?
You can sit the vial in hot water just don't let the water go over the top of vial, it needs to be pretty warm or use a heating pad or hair dryer.
What he said ^^^^ Plus it could be a messed up batch, what color is it? If it's a darker yellow color then it could be poorly brewed. You can always try heating up the test before you inject and see if that helps.
Clear as water. The carrier oil is MCT. I have not tried heating it yet
Well there is a brand that has a lizard that shoots fire out its mouth I can't use theirs because it gives me bad PIP so if it's that brand I get it. It may be best for you to just switch brands and source.

Also you mention usually running 300 with no issues. 400 is a big leap in terms of concentration compared to 300.
