Prolactin related gyno

ad

So I got gyno last cycle, on tren, test and npp. after the cycle it had not really bothered me, I had a lot of stuff going on in my life and stopped training and just forgot about it, around the time I stopped training and everything I had been taking letro for about a week and I don't think it really helped at all. now 5 years later, I started a cycle of npp, test, and mast. the gyno really flared up so I dropped the npp. In a few days I'll be starting caber, because I feel it is prolactin related and not estrogen. In about 6 weeks I'll be able to get my bloodwork done, but in the meantime is there a way to tell for sure whether it's from prolactin or if it's from estrogen. Also if I'm getting my bloodwork done on my own without a doctor going over the results, what markers am I looking for to determine which is the cause, or will it say right on the test etrogen and prolactin? Thanks guys.

Off topic. Why did you get rid of your avatar? Not digging in any way but I liked seeing it. It let me know right away I was probably gonna read something worthwhile.

Ya I don't know what I was thinking starting the npp again, the second I noticed the flare up I dropped the npp. It sucks because basically everything I want to run is a nor19 but now I can't touch them. I ran tren once and I loved it but I was young and an idiot, my training was pretty good but everything else was trash, and now ill probably never run it again but wish I could. I also have heart issues, so I got to be careful anyways.

i just had an ultrasound for blood clots the other day and an ekg in about two weeks, just to make sure everything is going good, because i got a new cardiologist. and are you saying stay away from things that cause water retention because of the heart or the gyno?

Bloodwork through private lab is relatively cheap, why would you wait 6 more weeks when you are aware of situation now? Not understanding your logic (lack of) here,.....

"Hey guys I broke my leg and the bone is protruding from the skin, I'll get an X-ray next week and see for sure"

No problem. Those cheap prices on the link basically are standard and stay low due to the discounts they offer. Just inquire till you find the place that best fits your budget. Don't wait if possible and get the blood work done asap. Good luck

idk if anyone know the answer to this but, Insurance will only cover bloodwork if its ordered by a doctor right? Because I've had bloodwork done before and insurance paid but it was for hemoglobin and stuff like that for a blood transfusion. and is there a way to get a doctor to order a hormone panel without a medical need for it? or no cus its gear related?

No, due to the fact that it's gear related and as a result, you can possibly be dropped from insurance coverage. Just shell out the $100 and pay for private lab. Blood work, as you already now know.... is cheap compared to cost of compounds/AI/ancillaries etc. Go the private lab route, pay the fees, no questions asked in and out one and done. This lifestyle in general is not cheap, but worse thing you can do is skimp on blood work especially since you mentioned you have heart problems....I'm not a doctor/medical professional, but how wise are you being with doing gear knowing your heart is problematic?

Rosschestzip's picture

Its not necessarily problematic, supposedly its good as new, ive had a valve in my heart replaced, so my doctor said it's like Im perfectly healthy since i had the surgery, but that was only in regard to supplements and training I obviously didn't mention the gear, but I've just been taking it slow. and no I'm not being very wise to be honest with you, and im just in love with bodybuilding and training and gear as well. I really should just learn to love it without the gear and come at with more of a longevity and wellness perspective instead of meat head idiot, but its easier said than done I guess.

I was waiting because of financial reasons, and I already have access to the letro and caber without spending any money so I was hoping there was another way I could confirm that its prolactin so I could start the caber then when I have the money go get the lab work. The prices on that link you pisted are super cheap though, if that really what it costs I'll go get it done this week, I just thought it was way more than that. Also, I didn't see anything in there that mentioned prolactin. Do you know if that's included with the test that would show estrogen levels, or would I just check estrogen and if that's normal then I'd know that prolactin is the problem?

Get bloodwork now. You don't wait when you are already having issues.

Once he gets the bloodwork done and assuming it is due to a prolactin issue, how would you treat it? I am curious since I am about to start my cycle and I will include deca, very low dose per week, only 250mg

Makwa's picture

It is pretty simple, high prolactin is dealt with caber and high estro is delt with an AI like aromasin or arimidex. Neither will get rid of gyno though. That ship has already sailed.

Rosschestzip's picture

So because it started 5 years ago, do you think surgery is my only option, even if it still stage one?

Most likely. Could try a run of letro but don’t get your hopes up on that

zorro2021's picture

Thanks brother,
I do remember taking caber a long time ago when I did a cycle that includes deca, but it made me feel like shit.
Two of my favorite compounds are test c and equi, whenever I’m on that and i feel an early sign of gyno, I immediately start taking nolvadex 10gm everyday, and it always works for me, but I read that nolvadex and deca don’t go well together. So my question is what other compound would work while on deca to prevent gyno?

zorro2021's picture

Raloxifine?? Never heard of that, interesting. And yes you are right I reas somewhere the same thing about nolvadex and deca, you’re also right about the chances of prolactin at such a low dose, it’s just better to be safe then sorry.

Makwa's picture

Caber and an AI like I mentioned. Keep estro in range and you likely will not even need caber.
