Pre-loading for injection days

ad

Silly question - Oh yeah hi there all!!

Anyway silly question. On a cycle with multiple injectable compounds. Not that it’s a chore because it isn’t. But where I am injecting Monday - Thursday - Saturday. Could one sit there and preload syringes for the week? Asking because it would really make it easier so you can just jump out of bed on international Enanthate day and inject literally first thing. It’s a literal silly question. The oil won’t degrade sitting in a syringe right?? Common sense is like, bro, are you serious?? But I ain’t ruining hundreds of dollars of gear.

I know people have done this for years but there is a reason vials are glass; it’s non reactive & it doesn’t de-particulate when in contact with liquids. Also, there is obviously a fair amount of solvent in our gear, so that I imagine would catalyze further chem leaching, but this is speculation.

I dont even like leaving it loaded for 5 minutes. Seems like the plunger starts sticking and I have to push harder which injects faster than I like

I keep my barrel warm in rice bag til pinning to avoid that hard push.

I would only do it with very basic compounds like test, mast, primo, and shit like that. Never do it with injectable anadrol, superdrol, thibgs like that, or anything with EO, or Gluiocol or super solvent, I’ve seen black plunger floaters within probably 36 hours or so. Also 14 days is a little bit long in my opinion but scientifically may be ok, I’m not sure

Agree.
I do primo/test injections. I inject M-W-F. I did the mistake of loading all 3 syringes for the week and had the black floaters for the friday shot. I threw it away and was pretty pist.
On sunday night, I get Monday and Wednesday ready and thats it.
For my peptides, I do them for the week. Never had issues there.

I do this with peptides but never oils for more than a day or two when going on Vacation.

Redi-jects came in sealed package. You can but i dont. I pull as needed because how sterile is YOUR sterile. Ive seen enough abscesses from misuse.

I appreciate you commenting on the plunger possibly dissolving overtime. To negate that, I wonder if a syringe holder to leave them upright would be good to go. Nonetheless I’ll shadow you and not go past two weeks of preparing.

Thanks again for your input

Yes you can mix oils with oils and water based with water based. Pre-loading won’t hurt anything short term. Just make sure you get your dosages down!

Yes you can do this. Oils with strong solvents might start to degrade the plunger but not appreciably over a week. If I’m running multiple compounds, I do all the math and pull the appropriate amounts all into a 5ml barrel, shake it up good, then split that up into however many 1ml barrels equates to. If I’m running 1ml a day 5 barrels, ~0.7ml a day 7 barrels, and so on. Then I put a luer lock cap on all of them, put them in my gear storage area with alcohol pads and needles. Now it’s just wake up, grab a barrel, needle, wipe, and do my thing.

I’m all about efficiency. And I’ve never had a problem doing them filling up to 14 1ml barrels at a time. To cover two weeks of ED injects.

This is a great idea. I do something similar but instead of mixing them together in the barrel I’ll do however much test I need in a 5mL, divide it between all my slin pins, then however much primo, divide it between all the slin pins, etc. Your way sounds a little simpler so I might give it a try in a few weeks when I start up my cycle.

The only thing I would be concerned about using this technique is that the hormones suspended in oils are probably not mixing to a 100% equilibrium despite shaking so dosages vary slightly I imagine.

Agree with everything else said!

Even if their miscibility is not great, given a hard enough and long enough shake, you could end up with a colloid that, even if not stable, would last long enough for the time needed to split amongst barrels. (Pure speculation on my part but a thought based on my scientific/education background)

Though with long esters and pinning ED it makes no real difference if day 1 I get 30mg, day 2 25, day 3 35, etc. It all averages out in the end.

smurfdude1234567's picture

I agree with that, and that’s why I said 100%. Really going to be fully negligible with long esters as you said, and even with shorts it’s going to be a nominal difference- it’s not so much about the oils mixing but the hormones suspended within the oils.

Wouldn’t that allude to the individual oils not having perfect dispersion of hormone? So you could pull 1ml of oil from the vial and it not necessarily be the same concentration each time?

Sorry these kinds of convos peak my interest. Not your standard bro talk lol….which I also enjoy sometimes

smurfdude1234567's picture

More so because the oils are different solutes, molecular weights, and concentrations of those specific hormones- I do too haha it’s what I went to school for. There is a difference in the blending we do in compound pharmacy compared to drawing x amount from vial A and x amount from vial B then injecting both into vial C. FR sent
