My doctor put me on Mounjaro 1.5 - 2 yrs ago, literally when it was approved by the FDA. I never heard of it but have been on it ever since and I will tell you for me personally it was a game changer but I have a metabolic disorder blah blah blah and basically my brain doesn't get the message I am full. My personal experience with Mounjaro couldn't better. The very first week when I took my first dose, I had some very mild abdominal cramping but nothing even close to complain about. After that first week I never experienced any of the side effects. It's a relief to not crave or obsess over food anymore and to be able to manage my diet. Like I said, my experience couldn't have been better and I really didn't experience any side effects. Nothing but a positive experience for me. Just thought I would share that with you. Good luck whatever you decide.
Mounjaro is the only semaglutide which has two mechanisms of action 1.) Appetite suppression 2.) it actually burns fat through another mechanism. Do some research you'll find it im just lazy rn
Appetite suppression being a benefit really depends on what you're currently trying to do. Are you trying to get stage lean? Put on some more size? Unless you have a propensity to always over eat i would think you would only run that stuff when trying to lose weight.
Im currently in off season but recently went back into a cut. I’ve had my coach for years, and I’ve never consistently ran as much gear as I’m currently running and have been running for the last month. He’s implemented several peptides along with the other supps to increase fat loss but I just can’t help but wonder when is enough? Hell my hair is even falling out lmao. The only time when I “overeat” is during my weekly cheat meal, so I can’t imagine it’s necessary.
There's his reasoning right there. You're cutting. Any of the GLP-1 agonists can help make it easier for you to stick to your diet. If you think you don't need it and can strictly stick to your diet then tell him you aren't comfortable using that right now but would be willing to revisit the topic if you start having a difficult time dealing with the reduced calorie intake.
I can tell you from experience that semaglutide, even at lower doses, makes a hell of a difference in how easy it is to ignore food all together.
