The issue with authentication codes has various causes:

Many manufacturers limit the number of verification attempts, usually between 1 and 3. If this limit is exceeded, the UPIC system will display a "fake" status even for an entirely authentic product. This is done to combat counterfeit items that duplicate the original code.
Unfortunately, sometimes the code itself is poorly printed on the packaging, label, or blister. Manufacturers may use hard-to-read matrix fonts or emboss codes on blisters with worn-out tools. As a result, customers may need to try several variations of the code (for each ambiguous character) and test them one by one. If your code has multiple such characters, verification becomes a real headache. Less diligent buyers might simply give up before completing the process.
Occasionally, manufacturers experience difficulties with marking due to software failures in the authentication code databases. Sometimes entire ranges of codes are missing for genuinely authentic products. Typically, these issues are resolved through direct communication with the manufacturer.

In your case, the absence of codes looks really suspicious. It's not a good sign if the labels have a designated area for the code, but it's missing.
The lack of boxes doesn’t mean much by itself and isn’t a definitive indicator. However, having both issues simultaneously (missing codes and "unboxed" vials) raises concerns.

I suggest to carefully compare vials with and without codes if they’re from the same manufacturer, looking for any differences. Once you’ve done that, it will be easier to assess the authenticity of your products.
