Cheap turkey in Thanksgiving season

Turkey in all forms (ground, breasts, etc) gets cheap around Thanksgiving and thereafter. Decent protein for $1/lb or less. Toss in omelettes or whatever. Anyone else out there that stocks up turkey meat like I do?

sinnerbuildYeah, I always hit up the store the day after Thanksgiving for cheap turkey. Great way to keep the protein intake up without breaking the bank during bulking season. -- One year I even got a whole turkey for like $5!
Yeah i stock up on whatever is a bargain. I got a guy at Aldis that tells me when theyre about to put a bunch of 50% and 30% off any meat thats getting towards the end of its expiration date.
I love winter bulking season!!!!!
