+ 1 6 years away from all bodybuilding and gym. Time to get back to it!

ad

Hello everyone! Some of you guys will remember me as Tryharder007. Many years ago, when I was 19-20 I had an account here. Had a ton of support in competing and posted many forums and write ups about training diet and others. I will say I was very ahead of the game for my age in terms of competing. Well around the time the mods rightfully banned me, I switched majors in school, and found out I was to be a dad at 20. I took some time off bodybuilding and eventually all the trophies and medals went into storage, and I gave up the gym completely. My time was invested in my wife, son and my company, for the last 6 or so years, with little stints of TRYING to come back full force.

Within the last 5 months, Made the choice to fall back in love with bodybuilding and try to make a comeback! Made slow slow progress in the last 5 months, just working on cleaning up my diet, retraining myself and holding myself accountable. as of Monday I will be following a strict diet and transforming myself back to where I used to be. Currently I am 6'0 284lbs and over 16-17%. I will post current photos, and maybe some past photos of what I used to look like. Guys like Makwa, Rusty, Theo remembered what I brought to eroids, now that im an old age of 26 I can finally be here and contribute!

Starting diet!

Meal 1: 2 cups egg whites cooked, Pico salsa, 16oz water with glutamine, and electrolytes.

meal 2: 8oz cooked chicken breast, .5oz almonds, 1 cup of veggies of choice (broccoli or fresh green beans are my go-to).

meal 3: 8oz cooked chicken breast, .5oz almonds, 1 cup veggies

meal 4: 6oz salmon, 1 cup of veggies

meal 5 (pre): 6oz steak or ground beef, 250g of cooked white rice,

Intra: 5g BCAA, 5g EAA, 5g Glutamine, 25g carbs from cyclic dextrin in 48 oz of water.

post: 2 scoops of whey (ON nutrition), 87g of rice

meal 6: 8oz of tilapia/rockfish/cod, 1 house salad

shooting for a gallon of water as standard, add in my Vitamins, and joint support! I do like my diet soda but limit that!

Tell me what you think! I am Definity an old school dieter. I'm not looking to see how I can keep carbs so high while dieting like some joke coaches preach. I am old school low carb, good fats and grind it the hell out!

I thought your "come back year" was 2018?

6 years away but made 15 reviews since 2017 between the two accounts?

Never was able to get serious about bodybuilding during that time. Between learning how to be a dad, business, getting married. All while being so young, big struggle learning balance. I’d do cycles here and there and do well but fall off the consistency. Lot of home gym work outs.

Now I’m at an age where I can really balance work, time with my kid and wife, and actually giving myself time for my passion of bodybuilding.

Wait until that second kid comes. I’m still struggling and he’s almost 3.

I like this man, looks simple but there is a lot of nutritional principles utilized here. Carbs around training, multiple protein sources, vegetables for nutrients and digestion, healthy fats. If you can stick to this man it will yield excellent results as you well know since you wrote it. I was not around back in the day so all I can say is welcome and stay consistent brother, you know what you need to do.

I appreciate it! I am a firm believer on carbs not around training. Heck even off season back when I was 19, growing like a weed. 99% of my carbs were focused around training. Off season I’d try to get minimal to no carbs the first three meals, as I always have trained at night.

Multiple levels of good fats, since my body reacts energy wise so well to fats more than heavy carbs.

Chicken will be smoked on the pellet grill! steaks I usually make 3 days worth, medium rare. I love cold steak anyways! Fish I have to make daily LOL.

I’m a simple man with my diet, don’t need fancy taste. Check out the pics I posted. Some old pics of me when I was 19 competing! I’m definitely trying to get back to where I was!

Looking good brother you, competing that young must of been a trip. I used to follow the teen bodybuilding back in the day as it was more popular / accepted. Cody Montgomery and Dominick Cardone being some of my favs.

Will be tuning in on your journey.

Know Cardone and we chat quite a bit on topics. He’s gone through a lot with his health, great coach now. Cody is a great dude but fell off hard sadly. Too much winning and got burnt out fast.. You remember cody Lewis? Dude was a freak!

I preppy much won every local shows teen comps. Did 1 novice class, and ended up going to opens by 19! Never had the $$$ for teen nationals, shit, didnt even have the money for a coach! . Wish I had at 20. Think I would have kicked ass.

Appreciate it man! I’m stoked to see where this leads. I’m starting to get obsessive again, all I think about at work is what playlist I wanna listen to, what pre I’ll take, and what I’m training. Haha

Cardone is the man, you see what he has been doing recently? Did you see Ross F's rebound? pretty crazy, hes gunna be a top pro coach soon just needs that tier 1 bodybuilder to give him a shot.

I think even being a family man having a personal goal or hobby for fulfillment is super important for happiness, glad you found your way back
