+ 1 TRT to maintain 800-1,200 ng/dl year round

ad

I want to get thoughts from everyone on starting TRT year round at the age of 30 with testosterone cypionate @ a dosage of140mg a week. This is an online HRT service being offered by a reputable company for people looking to optimize testosterone levels but I wanted to check in first.

I lift weights I go to bjj classes I’m not really trying to be a bodybuilder. I am a lifetime natty who’s natural T total is 501 ng/dl and free T total is 100 pg/dl. Just trying to get on the higher spectrum of the normal ranges (800-1,200 ng/dl) as I always see it promoted as giving better mental/physical health. This was the exact prescription I was assigned I just haven’t gone through with it yet. Getting opinions here first.

Before you recommend me try a natural approach first please keep in mind I’m already very active with a strict diet, plenty of sleep, not much stress, and yet my total T levels have decreased by 100 ng/dl the past two years despite this.

Blood panel from two weeks ago everything is in normal range:
E2
HS CRP
Vitamin D
CMP
IGF1 LC/MS
Testosterone free/total
PSA total
CBC
Thyroid panel with TSH
Lipid Panel

I have two children already, I’m not necessarily worried about fertility issues but of course if something were to happen down the line where I needed to get off I would want advice on how I could come off and go back to my natural production.

Bloodwork is going to be your friend here, for me 125mg is just right for TRT, it keeps me at the higher end of normal, but that’s where I feel best. I ramp things up a few times a year, keep it simple. As far as propionate being prescribed, no. It’s been discontinued for human use. You're getting either UGL or veterinary drugs. Either way, you need to drop that clinic.

you have a online doctor thats prescribing test p for trt? i think your online place is giving you ugl gear cuz i domt think test p is even available in pharmacies or available for prescription

MadaraUchiha's picture

They are prescribing cypionate only. I misunderstood thinking they offered both.

FlemDaddyKush's picture

haha okay that makes sense. i was gonna say your dealing with some shady online clinic if they offering you test p

MadaraUchiha's picture

I may try this out and see how they operate. And just go to monitoring myself with propinate. Since I think I would rather have that but they don’t offer it.

Prop for trt is insane. Keep your blood test down towards 800. 1200 youre pushing other health concerns

MadaraUchiha's picture

Why is it insane? Like I mentioned you see fewer extremes in the peak and trough since the shorter half-life resulting in more stable T levels while treated. I don’t see the negative of it if you don’t mind eod pinning. But give me your perspective please.

They are only offering cypionate. My bad. Ok thank you.

105 mg/week of test c puts my in the upper 800's. I micro dose daily so my body keeps a consistent level.

Is 140mg really a cruise? Sounds more like TRT in my opinion

Tbh I alaways thought cruise was when you dropped it down to a trt dose. Like anyrhing above 300 and your still technically "on"... Hard to tell when everyone has their own definition of phrases lol.

I felt terrible at 325 and my dick didn’t work right

HENCH500's picture

I have always taken a cruise to be a dosage you can hold more size on while mitigating side-effects , dosage above testosterone replacement but below a full on cycle or blast

I personally wouldn't recommend cruising if you are trying to get your bloodwork in order, once someone on one of those ships goes down with an illness it spreads like wildfire and everyone gets it. Then you are stuck in your cabin for 2 weeks.

HENCH500's picture

Yeah as you know I don’t do it any more I pct off last time didn’t I

That’s because you’re a hench. Majority of folks on here don’t have more lbm than their natural limit, so they don’t need higher cruise levels above TRT. Once you start getting above your natural limit you’ll definitely need higher cruise doses to maintain the muscle mass.

HENCH500's picture

I think people have different ideas of cruise and trt, some see it as one and the same.
For me personally trt is around 150-200mg and a cruise is around 300 -400mg anything above your on cycle.
Where’s @press1 when you need a poll lol

I can tell ya the answers will be 150mg to 200mg for TRT purposes and 200 to 300mg for cruise, from what I have seen over the years not that many guys cruise on here - most are quite sensible when coming off cycle and purely want their bloodwork all sorting out again. Thats apart from that SOS guy who still runs 100mg Tren E per week alongside cruising, I tell him but he won't listen.

SeeOhShow's picture

lol I don’t even own any vials of tren E. Could you imagine running 100mg Tren E per week year round? I bet Mike O’Hearn does that Crazy

Have you ever seen his party trick, reverse grip benching 500.

SeeOhShow's picture

Yea. The dude is definitely strong as hell no doubt. Looks creepy now that he’s gotten all that plastic surgery.

HENCH500's picture

Just end up pissing your insides out I would imagine

I’m surprised because there’s a few big guys on here I thought they would cruise and drop to trt every so often when they wanted to clean there systems up

Quite a few use HGH and taboo while on TRT to keep size up mate, I think you bigger guys keep size much better than naturally small guys too while off cycle - you still have big appetites too. Different metabolisms etc

sandman3698's picture

I like your description since it seems redundant to have 2 terms (trt and cruise) mean the same thing. Im adopting it.

I agree with your distinctions for sure. Maybe slightly different ranges, but 100% with the concept.

And he’s busy schooling the masses on the rules and guidelines of reviews for eroids lol. Professor press

My current levels are in my bio. CBC/igf/vitamin d/psa are all in normal ranges on last blood test.
