Noob question for endurance

ad

So, I take TRT, I'm 40 and have done endurance sports in my earlier years but my career took over with traveling all over the world, but now I'm mostly work from home so I got back into cycling and running.

Anyone in here got advice in what else I can supplement my TRT with to achieve results of gaining some muscle mass but ultimately helping with my endurance training. I also take DHEA with my TRT. Anyone here from South Florida by any chance? Palm Beach County or Martin county that has experience with this?

Low dose Tbol and cardarine are worth looking into

For endurance, keep TRT modest and build the engine. Lots of zone 2, stay on top of electrolytes, creatine, and sleep. GH peptides can help recovery. Dial calories in just slightly above baseline (+100–200) so you’re fueled but not heavy. More T usually backfires for endurance once hematocrit and BP creep up.

How long have you been on trt? Have you noticed the “honeymoon” end? Or are you still in it? Lots of nuance here to consider.

I've heard about the Honeymoon phase z what exactly is this? I've been on TRT now for almost two years. I microdose .30ml per day.

Call me stupid, what is GH Peptides?

Edit: If it helps, I also take Semaglutide to control my cravings for food, I have a history of eating until I'm basically sick, and morbid obesity runs in my family. Just wanted to put that out there

You are right, lots to consider, I would be lying if I told you I wasn't a tad scared to try different things here if there wasn't so much negative press around it.

0.3 ML daily for 200 mg/ml is over 400 mg of testosterone a week. You are not on TRT sir.

GH peptides are peptides that assist the pituitary gland with secreting and pulsing Growth Horomone. Some of the names of them if you want to look them up are Tesamorelin, Semorelin, Cjc 1295, and Ipamorelin.

Testosterone Cypionate is what I take, it is 200mg strength, should I go up on the dosage?

I get it through Male Excel and I also take 210mg of Thyroid pills in the morning. I have a feeling they're being VERY conservative? --

You are currently over double the recommended dose for TRT. Running a full 2 year cycle.

I was originally on .25.

I have a feeling I'm not giving the correct information here, so let me clarify.

I use a 30 gauge needle 0.5cc/ml, 50 unit total syringe. I fill this to 30 units. Am I providing the correct information?

Mrtommorrow1987's picture

You are providing the correct information. That is 0.3 ML a day 2.1 ML a week. Your testosterone is 200 mg/ml. That is 420 mg of testosterone a week. TRT dosing is typically 100-200mg a week.

One other thing: no side effects; thus, no hair loss, no mood swings, blood pressure is normal, my LDL is high but that came from a recent test after eating like shit because I was traveling for work and the only places my fat ass coworkers like to eat is at shit restaurants, leaving me a decision either to starve or find other shitty food at 11pm at night. Oh yeah, blood work showed no prostate issues either at this dose

Given it's under guidance from a doctor, is there a reason to drop it lower? My levels were low to start with over a year ago. Is there anything else I can take that is "safe enough" with TRT to provide a boost to strength and endurance?

Mrtommorrow1987's picture

Your Dr. can def guide your TRT but those doses are very high for permanent test replacement. I would honestly be concerned if any of my bloods were off running that large of a dose for that long. Prob a convo you guys should have.

Yeah, I'm due for blood work in January, but last blood work in June was good, nothing off

What does ur test numbers come back looking like? Like others have said, that's a 2 year long blast. If you're eating good and lifting hard you should be fucking enormous.

You're probably paying a mint for that much "clinic" test.

By the way, seeing your avatar, you do recognize my screen name, right?

Oh ya I remember that little hillbilly.

I love the Jigglebilly. “Let’s commence to jigglin’ yall.”

Oh, that's the other doll, Happy Time Harry had "action bills" and made MasterShake uncomfortable, on of the best episodes in the series

I pay more for the Semaglutide to be honest with you. When I do train my wife notices my gains are rather fast, but with travel, injury, and multiple illnesses I haven't been consistent with the gym in 6 months.

When I started, I was lower 300s (forgive my lack of knowledge on the units for this) and the last lab work came back, in June, around 500, I Guess we're aiming for 750-1000?

Mrtommorrow1987's picture

Ain’t no way you are taking 400mg a week than.

I mean, it's what's been prescribed, I don't argue with them because I don't know as much as they do, I will certainly ask in January what they think about my dosage though, see what they say

Mrtommorrow1987's picture

What I mean is your test level should be higher if you are taking that much

I'll see what it is next month then.
