First cycle and no idea what I should take.
Hello everyone…I’m 47, 165 lbs 5”11 and around 13% body fat….i don’t think I look like it but that’s what the scale says..I currently take 300mg of test sustanon weekly that I got from DCpharma and I feel it works pretty good. Although I have been on TRT for around 5 years. Now I wanna go to the next level…I don’t wanna turn into Sam Sulek…I just wanna maybe gain another 10-15 lbs of muscle and get super lean…wanna be shredded as possible for my age…want to look hard…not soft…I’m in pretty good shape for my age..been working out like 25 years…but this is my max naturally…I’m not improving my diet any more…so I need some gear to bump me up… like I said, I don’t want to be huge … I’m not trying to purchase an entire new wardrobe, but I really am unsure what I should take and how I should take it and for how long and what to do after a cycle…I heard PCT but I’m not even sure what that means..also haven’t had any labs recently..maybe a year ago from my primary doc…who doesn’t prescribe me my test…been getting it from gym bros for years..so you guys suggest I flat out tell her what my plan is so she can monitor my results? Appreciate any help fellas…thanks in advance.

Nobody knows what to take for a 1st cycle & the truth is everybody reacts differently so you have to take a trial & error approach. I´m a newbie & for my first cycle combined Test/Decca 600mg each weekly but suffered Decca Dick, so doubled up on the Test (1200mg). Which in turn led to side affects & ancillaries.
After that bulk phase I've switched to Tren with the intention of cutting. Test 600mg a week, Tren 400mg a week.
With the benefit of hindsight I can say this "cutting cycle" is better than my original bulking cycle of Test/Decca. Just 3 weeks in to cycle, muscle growth is obvious & much more effective than the Decca. Especially as so far I haven't noticed any sides.
Other people have different experiences of Decca/Tren but I cant see myself ever using Decca again now.
IF your trt then pct is not warranted in this case…it means post cycle therapy…taking meds to reboot your natty test production….
Adding 10-15 lbs of lean muscle is something that will absolutely take time…..its ALL about nutrition and timing and consistency…..being able to consume the needed nutrients to gain and maintain 10lbs is not a simple fix….
Do some research on the calories needed to gain and maintain 1lb of LEAN tissue then obviously multiply by 10-15….it comes down to regiment of eat sleep lift repeat….adding gear will help with feed efficiency and the body will be able to utilize the nutrients more efficiently, but you absolutely need to be able to keep up that efficiency ( once off gear ) to maintain the gains you’ve made…so in lehmans terms, …once off gear, more clean nutrients, more intense workouts, continued sleep and recovery…
Log all of your nutrition, workouts, sleep, rest, …after a couple yrs, you’ll have 10lbs of keepable lean tissue
Why are you taking sustanon and now asking what to take for your first cycle? There’s a ton of advice that can be located using that search bar up top. Post some blood work and maybe you’ll get some legit answers.
The testosterone bottle also says sustanon
If you're doing 300mg/wk of sustanon then you're already doing a small cycle. Hence he's asking why if you're already taking this why are you asking what to run for your first cycle.
Lay out your diet here and youll receive a bunch of wise information and the layout to get you them gains bro. What are you eating to gain? Forget the compounds now just lay out your macros
You need to go to an endocrinologist, especially at your age. Get blood work and then jump back over here.
I would look into a legit trt clinic! Def not the test mills that just give you 200 test cyp with an AI and call it a day. One that will actually monitor everything, where you’re getting regular blood panels done at least. Haphazardly putting yourself on 300mg of sust isn’t TRT and definitely not going to add 15 pounds of muscle without proper diet and training. At your age you should not be thinking about adding more compounds but dialing in everything. With a legit doctor you can get your hormones dialed and then put all your focus into food and training as you have not reached your max naturally. If that’s too expensive which I understand I would definitely do some more research of your own and learn as much as possible before throwing the kitchen sink at it. Definitely get regular bloodwork once a year is not enough, and no bs panels with.just test and estradiol but actual health markers and learn to interpret them. If you have any questions hmu
"I'm not improving my diet any more" tells me you do not want to do what it takes. The diet will be more important than any gear you can take. You cannot outwork a bad diet. And 300mg of sustanon is not TRT. I would suggest you do a lot more research and get your diet in check before introducing any other compounds.
Sorry, I a hurry when I wrote that post what I meant by that is, I can’t improve my diet anymore. I’ve been eating clean for years. I monitor everything that I eat. Account for all my macros so the only thing I could possibly do is play with the numbers
…I’ve done 1 million times and I’ve kind of found the sweet spot that works for me And I work out regularly and I assume TRT testosterone replacement therapy is just taking added testosterone, which I take the testosterone sustanon. That’s what it says on the bottle. I get my usual yearly labs done with my primary doctor
Oh okay, I gotcha. If you’re trying to gain weight, then you need more calories. Adding more carbohydrates on top of what you’re eating now will most certainly help you gain. I’m not a big fan of “dirty bulking,” but some hard gainers find it necessary to get the calories in anyway they can. Even if you have to add 1/2 cup of oats to a protein shake twice a day, that’ll get you 100 more carbs a day. Muscle is primarily water. The suffix to carbohydrate is hydrate AKA water. The carbs help shuttle the protein to the muscle and help you grow. Try it out for a month and see if you grow.
Your saying your diet is perfect. You havent missed one in 1 year ?????
Eat 1k cals above your TDEE and then come back and tell me if you are gaining weight
It is trt for competitive bodybuilders who are off drugs for 6-8 weeks a year to check bloodwork before hopping back on cycle… but I sense he’s not that guy.
In all seriousness I could not agree more. Diet can ALWAYS be improved. Unless you’re living like a monk and a private chef prepares you 8 meals a day, you can always do better.
Def not at your max naturally. Maybe at your max with how your eating and lifting but you could do more, just saying. You might look great too but not maxed out. Also I would not tell your doctor your plan. You could get a legit trt doctor but I wouldn’t say anything about cycling, you can have them run your bloodwork or pay for it yourself, which is honestly your best bet to avoid the questions and they may drop you to avoid liability once they see your numbers off the charts while your cycling. If I were you I’d put the cycling plan on the back burner. Go to a legit trt doctor and get your levels perfected and healthy. Get your training and diet perfected and with your hormones all in order you’ll probably make some good progress that way and maybe not have to cycle at all. Since your not a real young guy I wouldn’t say you have to max out completely before considering it but you should atleast make sure your running optimally and make some good gains first before just jumping off the deep end. Also In the time being you can start researching and leaning more about pct and hormones and at least all the basics. Good luck brother
Appreciate the advice brother, maybe I will look into a trt place locally. See what they can offer me. Thanks for the info
Your not at your Max naturally - you never were buddy. Your diet is all fucked up. There isn't a way you could be 165 at your height with that bf and be maxed out my brotha come on man. You don't want it bad enough. Yes I would definitely GO TO A LEGIT TRT DR. You could gain that much weight easily by consuming more food and actually training. EASILY. The gear doesn't just bump you up my man it's the FOOD BRO ITS ALL FOOD
