Why does it make you so sleepy?
ad
I always get really tired after taking GH and that is why I don't like taking it in the morning. From reading, I guess the morning is the best time to take your GH dose. Why does it make me so sleepy? I know the body releases the majority of it during sleep. So, would it be mimicking some of the bodies reactions during deep sleep? What ways do you guys deal with the sleepiness from GH?

I Been Taking It For 18 Months Now And Still Get Tired Only 4 Ius A Day I Even Take At Night It Puts Me Right To Sleep. I Dream Like Crazy And Takes Me A Good Hr To Wake Up It Sucks. Everyone Said Your Body Gets Used To It. Well Not Me Lol.
i know this is somewhat of a old post but i just started HGH and i take 2 iu's in morning and 2 iu's at nite, during tha am hrs i feel lethargic and sleepy. from what i've been reading i guess this is a good sign that the HGH is working
silence001You should continue to use it.This is a normal phenomenon at the begining.
WithdrawlIt made me very very tired the first week and subsided each week after that. By the end of four weeks I was good to go for the most part. I really think it's a reaction your body has because it's so used to your natural surge coming during your deep REM sleep that when it sees a big surge it sort of ;makes our body think it's in a deep sleep and you get drowsy. Just a theory though. The first week was the toughest but then it got easier and easier and eventually you won't have any side effect a couple months down the road hopefully.
Hgh lowers your blood sugar which will make you tired from that
I take it like 4 hours before bed and sleep fine. In the AM knocks me out. How many IUs are you taking?
Some reasons for lethargy may be thryoid levels and blood sugar. Also different brands make some people feel more/less tired
I worked my way up to 5iu daily and I also take it before bed. I get so drowsy if I take it in the morning, but I guess it is better to do so, since you will be getting your normal dose of GH at night and the synthetic dose in the morning, in theory.
