Burs on flip cap vials

ad

Does anyone else hate those damn burs when you take the colored cap off a vial. They always seem to catch a little bit of cotton threads from disinfecting the top. I am afraid I will get a little thread in my syringe and shoot it in my muscle. Any foreign object like that could cause an infection.

Sometime I'll use the bur to cut the skin over a lagging muscle and pour the juice in. Burns like hell

I take the rounded edge at the bottom of another vial and mash them down. No biggie.

Whenever I get vials like this I use plyers to rip the spikes off to make it smooth again. If that fails you can always just transfer it to another vial.

i get my alcohol swabs caught on them all the time, they are annoying, i dont bother with them tho,i just leave them be

Yea that annoy's me too. I usually just press it down with a pen or something and try to make it not catch the string as easily.

But the likelyhood that a needle will get it is low. Unless you are using a huge needle to draw. I use 23G or 25g to draw oils so I don't think a little piece of string is gonna get sucked up in there

i thought i was the only one who worried about that lol. try a different supplier, all vials dont make the bure when you pop the cap.

My supplier has some fire, plus the NPP/Tes PP, Test P mix for a great value.

I take my finger nail and push all the spots down and I don't have much of an issue.

That actually worked better than I thought.
