Need to pick your brains....

I am looking for some opinions from you highly experienced guys out there.

If you were doing an 18 week bulk running a solid cycle of AAS and looking to add in HGH for hypertrophic purposes, would you rather do:

4iu daily for 18 weeks

Or

3iu for 6, 4iu for 6 and 5iu for 6?

This would be a first time user.

Additionally, would you split the dose or just do one shot post workout for IGF purposes?

For hypertrophic purposes I really would be looking for 10iu/d. Dosing seems to be personal choice. Some like to get that big slug in and some will split. There are valid reasons for both ways. The problem with running HGH for hypertrophy is that it is kind of pointless to run it on its own without some other ancilliaries besides AAS that we can't talk about here. So unless you are willing to go that route I wouldn't bother trying to use HGH on its own for strictly hypertrophy purposes.

HGH can provide great benefits such as fat loss at the doses you are talking about but not for hypertrophy like you are wanting.

I know what you mean and you’re definitely correct that HGH alone isn’t the best for hypertrophy unless you’re willing to run a lot. In my experience though I’ve found that adding in HGH at even doses as low as 4iu allows you to cut back on some AAS and still get the same level of hypertrophy without as much of the side effects as running high dosages or harsher compounds. Obviously, the other ancilliaries you mention can make a marked difference, but it’s the whole risk to reward ratio.

For mass gaining purposes you really need to be looking at 5iu's + per day. If this is your first time you will probably have to start lower though to get use to it. I've known many who run 10iu's a day for this purpose and its supposed to work well at that level.

Normally I prefer to ramp up like you suggested. I think it’salways best to see how the body responds

This isn’t actually for me. I’m just trying to get some opinions from you guys and see what protocols people suggest. I have a number of clients I design plans for and first time HGH users are pretty common amongst them but it’s hard to find anywhere that you can chat openly with people about things like this.

It’s not a case of not knowing. I’ve been in this game for 23 years. I’ve coached people at very high levels and been coached myself by some vastly experienced coaches. It’s about seeing other people’s opinions and what they believe is best. I thought there may be people here with greater levels of knowledge and experience add it’s always interesting to see what they have tried over the years.

That’s absolutely fine mate. I see how it can look. It’s just over the years I’ve always looked to pick the brains of other people. I think it was John meadows who said there are a million ways to prep a client and every coach has their own ways. I have mine but I love to hear about people’s own experiences etc. In this industry you never stop learning, it’s fascinating!
