Slin Pin measurement

I realize there is a great deal of info out about this, but I just wanted to make sure I'm doing this correctly. This is my first time with peptides and I'd prefer to not fuck it up.

So I have a slin pin, Insulin Syringes - EasyTouch™ 29 Gauge, 1cc, 1/2" needle

I have 5 mg of peptide and 2 mL of bacteriostatic h2o.

I understand figuring out the concentration of the peptide solution, but am not sure about how to use the slin pin. So this slin pin has measurements going from 10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80-90-100. Between these are 10 marks (are these ticks?). Math says that if I pull from 10-20, then I have 250 mcg (0.25 mg) of peptide in the syringe. I want 125 mcg, so that means I will pull up to 10.5, or 5 ticks. But the calculator says I need to pull 3 ticks. I trust my math, so I think there is a discrepancy in what constitutes a tick.

For my aforementioned syringe, could someone tell me what a tick is?

1 tick = 2 units = .01 CC. So each line on the syringe is 1 unit. every 2 lines is 1 tick, or 2 units? I'm wording this in as many ways as possible to assure understanding.

Got it. Much easier to just do the math. 5 mg / 2 ml = 2.5 mg/ml. 1 syringe = 1 mL. 1 syringe therefore = 2.5 mg. 0.1 mL = 250 mcg, so I just use a bit over 0.05 ml to get about 150 mcg. Ty!
