+ 2 Retatrutide Dosaging
ad
Hey everyone,
I could use some help figuring out the right approach to dosing Retatrutide 5mg.
I’ve been working with a nutritionist for about 9 months, tracking everything and staying in a calorie deficit, but I’ve still gained around 35 lbs. My labs are all normal, but I’m on Lamotrigine and Latuda, which might be affecting my metabolism and making it harder to lose weight.
I recently picked up Retatrutide 5mg, but there’s not much clear info out there on how to start or how to properly titrate it. For anyone who’s used it —
How did you start your dosing schedule?
How often did you inject?
What side effects or results did you notice at different stages?

Ok. Dumb questions.
I purchased 5mg Reta from one of the sites preferred suppliers.
So is 5mg the whole vial or is that the dose? How many units do I inject to be 5mg?
Also isn’t this supposed or be refrigerated? The vials just came in a box.
5mg not gonna last you very long. Find a tested source on here to pick up 50-100mg at a time on the cheap. There's a couple places.
Looks like the rest of these scallywags got you covered on dose.
Any recommendation on a source on here? Thanks!
Don’t do it he gonna send you dick pics
Too late

I know this is an older thread, but do you mind if I pm you?
Start low build up. I recommend to split injections throughout the week the higher the dose tho, you can tolerate a lot more when it’s not at once
Agree with staring with the 1mg once per week to see how your tolerance is. The standard starting dose is 2mg once per week. Regardless of what you start with I would stay at that dose for 4 weeks to see if its worth titrating up. They say it takes 4 weeks to full saturate into your body at it's highest peak. You will see many people micro dose multiple times per week. I would stay away from that until you learn how it responds to you. The titrating dosing is as follows per the Lily trials: 2mg => 4mg => 6mg => 8mg => 10mg =>12mg. If it's working for you at a specific mg I would not titrate up and just stay there. Why fix it if it ain't broken.
Like others said, Try 1mg a week for a couple weeks and see how your body reacts and how well it suppresses your hunger. The most I personally ever used was 3.5mg a week and I stayed on Reta for 4 months and lost 50lbs. The first few weeks you might think it's not working but trust me it is. Weigh yourself once a week and you should be down 3lbs to 5lbs a week.
Start at 1mg a week. Some will say 0.5mg but you seem like you have a hard time keeping your hand out of the cookie jar. See how well that 1mg decreases your hunger. If you notice by towards the end of the week your back to craving do another 1mg. Im on 4mg a week. Main thing is. Keep your hands out the cookie jar. Eat clean. I barely if ever track my macros. But since I started 7 weeks ago I eat rice, chicken, veggies, beef, ground beef, fish, oats, egg whites with one whole egg. No candy. No cookies. No sugar coffee. Get sugar free cokes or coffee creamer to help curb your hunger. I lost 22lbs so far. So its works. But sneaking off telling your wife your going go gym and then going to QuickTrip and getting 40oz guzzler and 2 fully loaded glizzys saying it won't hurt will. You got this.
When I started using Reta, I made a mistake. I injected 2 mg of Reta all at once. As a result, I couldn’t eat for a week. The following week, I continued with 1 mg twice a week (Monday and Thursday). The appetite suppression was still very strong. In the third week, I reduced the dose to 0.8 mg twice a week and decided that was the most suitable level for me.
