MT2
ad
Hi people hope you’re all well.
Been a user (lover) of melanotan 2 peptide for the past 3 years on and off. Mainly loading up during the summer months and before holiday as you would. I’m naturally skin type 1 and ginger so this stuff is a game changer to say the least. I’m currently kinda microdosing 0.25 - 0.3 mg most days and I’m slowly but surely getting more tan. Has anyone else experienced pain sub q (stomach sides) whilst injecting and for a while after? My thinking is although I’m alternating sides, there could be a build up of mt2 causing a bruising sensation when I jab?
Any info would be appreciated. Cheers guys and girls.

I appreciate the comment and different perspective. I think people can turn a blind eye or not believe anything is bad with MT2, maybe due to the lack of long term known side effects or just because they don’t want to think about possible negative consequences. Where did you find out about rhabdomyolysis? The melanoma risk is an interesting one, do you think that’s due to over production of melanocytes or because some MT2 users may use more sun/tanning beds - thus higher risk? Any response would be great. Take care.
Alphamale500Hey bro. When it comes to side effects in general, sometimes we just don't wanna believe them or we think we'll be the lucky ones that don't develop them. Maybe because we really like using the substance in question and we've gotten some great results from it, or like I said we just don't wanna believe that will happen to us.
I learned about the possible side effect rhabdomyolysis when I was researching MT2 and it's side effects on the internet. I'm sure you can find info about rhabdomyolysis and MT2 use just by doing a google search. There are multiple scientific sites and other reputable sites on the internet which talk about rhabdomyolysis and how it could possibly be a long-term side effect of using Melanotan II, among other serious sides that I mentioned in my original comment. I just wish I read about it sooner before I ever touched Melanotan II.There are apparently some possible serious liver and kidney side effects as well I'll post one of the sites that mentioned the rhabdomyolysis up here after I finish this comment.
And I'm not sure what may cause the increased melanoma risk, but it could be due to exactly what you were saying, like the increased production of melanocytes and the people who use MT2 are likely people that tan in the sun or tanning beds more than the average person. But some information I've read about MT2 says that the increased production of melanocytes or melanin, can actually help to prevent skin cancer.
I was a Melanotan II user myself some years ago. I loved the dark tan it gave me, with just one injection and just one tanning session per week. After the 10 day pre-loading phase of course. And I'm the kind of guy who gets more red than tan, but with MT2 I almost looked black! Personally, I never noticed any muscle building or weight loss properties to it, but maybe I just didn't connect it to the MT2, because I had never heard of those possible benefits when I was using it.
The only short-term side effects I noticed were minimal. With things such as darkening of my gums, and an increase in freckles and moles. And I began to notice sun damage areas on my forehead, but I believe that it was from too much sun/tanning exposure when I was younger, but really showed up more because my skin was so dark! They all went away a couple of months after discontinuing use. As for long-term side effects, nothing yet. Knock on wood!
So, all I can say is be very careful with MT2. I know it can produce some awesome tanning and possibly some other beneficial effects, but at what cost? At least do your share of research before making your decision on whether to continue using it or not. And always remember to do your own proper research, on reputable scientific sites and not just asking your questions on forums. Because you'll end up getting all kinds of answers and people's opinions more so that actual facts. Nowadays, I won't touch anything without doing the proper research and getting all the answers I need to have. When I was younger, like when I was using MT2, I was a little reckless and foolish, but I've definitely learned from my mistakes! Good luck and be safe bro!
P.S.: Exactly how are you dosing your Melanotan II? What dose and how often? And have you done your initial pre-loading phase?
Easy to get carried away I guess. My first use was 3 summers ago, I done the standard 10 day loading phase, looking back I believe this was too much too quickly (for me) and I could have avoided extra moles etc.
As of this year I have diluted the MT2 in 2ml BAC water instead of 1ml. My doses have consisted of between 0.25 - 0.3 so very conservative, I will happily miss days if i have to and I make sure to dose 30 mins pre sunbed to utilise it’s benefits.
For me personally, I love the fact it protects me from burning on holiday/hot summer days as this would be a major problem for me otherwise. It’s just as much the practicality it provides me as well as the aesthetics.
Alphamale500But after you finished you initial loading phase, you continue to take daily injections of MT2? Because if you did your loading phase properly, then you should only need a weekly injection to maintain.
Also, where exactly do you take your injections? I know in your stomach, but exactly where? Because I noticed when taking any frequent sub-q injections in the area below my belly button they seem to cause me a lil pain. So I like to inject in the area right above my belly button. Maybe you can try this and see if it reduces your pain.
Could be the stabilizers/fillers etc in the MT2. Try switching brands. I have had some that sting like a bitch goin in and others that are just fine.

Can you PM a decent place? I’ve usually found this to be the case, I believe they are all manufactured in China anyway. Obviously different labs I guess.
I haven't used MT2 for a long time now. I am not really up to speed on who has good MT2 right now.
Love Mt2, hate the nausea
If you are getting pain, you are either going into fat or going too deep. Fat layer is easy to hit when relatively lean and go in at an angle or when like me too fat lol
also you might be tipping into muscle fibres if going too deep. true subQ shoudnt hurt at all
use a slin pin, make sure to clear the fat layer but not go too deep, shoudnt have any pain at all
Alphamale500That's exactly what used to happen to me when taking a sub-q injection. I would accidentally stick the needle into the fat cells in the area below my belly button, where many people have the largest amount of fat on their body. So I think it's very possible that's what could be happening here. But my situation wasn't caused by being too lean, but rather a little too fat in that area.Lol!
Now I take my sub-q injections into the area right above my belly button, where I have less fat cells. And I no longer get any painful spots where I inject.
Nice work!
I learned the hard way with test base and tren base
Put that shit into the fat layer and you will never do it again!!
I’m a big fan of MT2. When you do daily sub Q injections sometime you end hitting areas where you recently injected and it gives you that uncomfortable feeling, happens to me all the time. As you know some days you feel no pain while injecting and some are painful as fu*k, same as with IM injections. Also sometimes you may feel like a small ball under the skin but this will dissolve and disappear soon after. We have discussed MT2 on here before and I don’t remember anyone reporting any severe side effects from it. Maybe I am just trying to justify it as been on it for ages.
Alphamale500Hey bro. I used to be a big fan of MT2 as well. I love how dark you get from it. I used to think that using MT2 was actually very beneficial to your health. Like I read that by increasing the amount of melanocytes/melanin in your body, you can actually help prevent developing skin cancer. And I even read that MT2 can help prevent/treat grey hair, because of how it increases melanin. Of course I read about some possible short-term side effects, but I still used it anyway.
But when I read about the possible long-term side effect rhabdomyolysis, it definitely steered me away from using MT2, especially when I was only using it for tanning! When I read about the possible death of muscle fibers, and them basically turning into liquid and going into your bloodstream and possibly causing kidney failure, that seemed like too big of a risk for just a nice tan! A fucking tan bro. Lol! But, to each his own. I don't judge.
And like you said that you don't remember anyone on here talking about possible severe side effects, that's why it's always really important to do your own research. And not just on forums, but on reputable scientific sites, clinical trials and studies. How long have you been taking it anyway?
I agree with you, however I believe we are taking a risk any time we inject or swallow any synthetic substance in our body, any AAS, peptides or sarms. AAS been available for a while and we have a chance to look back at the athletes from previous era and see what effect these substances had on their health.
With Peptides and Sarms however there have not been enough research as substances are fairly new and long term effects are not known yet.
I am on and off really, I would give it a long break throughout the winter season as I see no need to take it then. But all in all been using it for the past 5 years and can not report any negative sides from it that I’m aware of.
Top reply dexter, you’ve pretty much confirmed my thinking mate. How many years you been using MT2 out of interest? This is my third year - the only unwanted sides I’ve had is quite a few extra moles/freckles (doesn’t put me off using) I believe this is due to ignorantly following the heavy loading protocol on my first use. I’m currently dosing lower now.
I'll stop with MT2 soon, it gives me always the feeling of beeing sick and the appetite loss is shit, no matter which brand I use ...always the same!
Yes I know this pain, mostly it comes if u inject it too cold.
Yeah man this and also PT-141 make me vomit. The erections are solid however i prefer not the sides which is why i haven't messed with it in a while. I was excited initially as i ordered some PT from China mistake number one which tested out to be MT2. I was wondering what the hell was going on as I became darker than a gorilla. How embarrassing and that color isnt like the tan i get from the sun i mean i was darker than hell and eventually it all wore off thankfully.
I like to take my one right before I fall asleep, literally I will have it ready near my bed and when I’m feeling I’m about to fall asleep I inject it quickly.
This away by the time it kicks in, I’m gone
Alphamale500Yep! I used to take my mt2 injections the same way. I think it's the best way to take it. IMO, there's no need to take your injections right before tanning or whatever like some people do.
Iv tried that and end up laying in bed with my head feeling like its going to explode lol. I heard anti histamines can help?
I do it like u mate but the appetite loss sucks.
I’ve done once in the morning and felt shit for half a day. I mean it’s good when you’re dieting for a comp as it effects your appetite but but then again you feel like crap
I had the same issue, I normally only lose appetite for a few hours after and usually fine the next morning. How much were you pinning mate?
0.5mg 3 times per week.
Sub Q injections can always be an issue. Be sure to thoroughly rotate sites and keep things sterile.
PallMallIt usually burns after I inject it personally. The pain goes away after a minute though and doesn't linger or return.
My biggest issue is if using the same injection site it'll cause skin discoloration in that spot, well it gets darker then the rest of me anyway
Cheers for the reply mate. It’s almost like a build up of fluid sensation I seem to get. Have you experienced injecting near the knee/I think shoulder is possible too from what I’ve researched.
PallMallYou can literally inject subq anywhere on your body.
