How insulin and igf work?
ad
So from what I get diabetics use insulin when their blood sugar(glucose) is too high to convert the glucose back into glycogen which is stored in the liver and muscles. Is the increased amount of glycogen stored in muscles what makes these substances build muscle mass?

Just for the record I don't intend on doing slin, but I was thinking about incorporating igf lr3 into my pct. I did my last pin Thursday and theres still a few months of bulking season left. From the research I have done it looks like igf is and insulin like compound so thats why I brought up the question.
Anonin a sense, yes... without energy the body simply cannot function - this includes your muscles. the body's desired source of energy is glucose. glucose is simply blood sugar and it cannot be stored in it's simple form. as a result, when glucose is no longer being used for meeting energy demands, it undergoes a chemical restructuring so to speak as multiple glucose molecules become bound together forming the long chain carbohydrate known as glycogen, which is then stored in the muscle and liver cells.
knowing that your muscles need energy to function and that the desired source is glucose, the fact arises that increasing energy stores yeilds better gains in the gym and during recovery. the glycogen itself does not build muscle tissue, although it plays a role in those processes by providing energy for both the stimulus (exercise) as well as the recovery/repair process when protein synthesis occurs.
going s step further.. circulating blood glucose alone will not become available to the muscles' cells unless interacting with receptor sites. this is where insulin comes into play. insulin is charged with the task of making blood glucose available to the body's cells.
our bodies produce this hormone naturally. this is one hormone, unlike the sex hormones, whose production does not deminish as we age. simply put: we can produce as much or as little of it as we want with the appropriate stimulus. your diet plays a huge role here, as insulin is secreted in response to rising blood glucose levels.
if you currently do not need insulin to manage your blood glucose, i would not advise playing with exogenous forms. trust me on this: your body will produce as much as you want in a very short amount of time. i, as well as some others here, can teach you how to harness that natural process and reap the benefits without causing harm to your pancreas.
here's one way to control this process and reap the benefits:

hope this was helpful. let me know if you have more related questions i can answer for you.
good way to become diabetic =s
AnonDo some research on your own on google and use the search tab on this site. Type in insulin or insulin cycle. It is very dangerous and u should not do it unless u are 100 percent sure u have a very good understanding of it.
Since insulin can kill you quickly....it's not discussed openly. It is that hazardous. There's natty tricks to insulin spiking with 50g of medium chain sugars like honey. 2tsp honey in blender with 50g whey. For slin info pm a guru....I'm not doing slin ever!
