GHRP’s, or growth hormone releasing hexapeptide mainly comes in two forms, GHRP 2 and GHRP 6. GHRP’s act in the brain on the GH secretagogue receptor which is normally bound by Ghrelin. Aside from stumulating the anterior pituitary to release growth hormone, Ghrelin is also responsible for hunger, as it is secreated by cells that line the stomache. This, among others, is one of the key factors that are responsible for the reason why fasting induces an increased growth hormone level in humans. GHRP, being a mimic, will also have the same effect thus spiking human growth hormone levels in the body for a short duration of time. Normal dosing of GHRP ranges from 100mcg to 700mcg, dosing as needed at optimal times.
