TRT lab results - any ideas?

9/13 results after being on 40 mg Tamoxifen and no injections for about 3 weeks.
Dr then put me on a transdermal solution with testosterone. Does not work well.
Prior to taking HRT my T levels where very low (about 7).
About me:
I am 41 year old male, 91 kg's, go to gym about 3 – 4 days per week.
Dr prescribed me with injections which I administer each 14 days ( 1 ml @ 250mg Primoteston) and comes in a ready to go injection kit (Schering).
Now I am taking Tamoxifen (20 mg daily) and having injection every 14 days.
I would like to know what if anything there is I can consider changing/taking or trying.
Have tried compounded transdermal cream with test and dhea and chrysin without much effect.

QtripsOkay, here we go.
-transdermals won't work if your thyroid is bad, due to metabolism being low and thus absorption also being low. Transdermals have a low success rate in general.
-what's the doc's reason for tamoxifen?
-I'm having a hard time with the labs. Can you post reference ranges too? Do it like this, saying your testosterone was 12...it would look like "12 (7-29)" It doesn't matter as much though, as you took the plunge and are now on trt. Only reason it would matter is if you wanted to go back to being natty.
-you need thyroid and adrenal labs done, along with prolactin.
-please describe your symptoms.
Thanks for your reply Qtrips
I will do my best to answer:
Dr's reason for tamoxifen is to reduce the high E2 levels
Reference rages are:
E2 pmol/L (<150)
Testo nmol/L (5.0 - 25.0)
fTesto. pmol/L (40.0 -100)
So from the initial visits when I had testing done the E2 wasn't checked.
The other results were in the low range.
The symptom's were being very tired, low libido, low energy.
Therefore the Dr recommended the transdermal to start with and then when this had little effect moved to the Primoteston. I am told being natural isn't an option for me because the levels will just fall away and not kick back in
QtripsSo your last labs were 9/13, so you don't have any recent ones since being on injections? If not, it's time for some labs soon. Switch to the subQ method and dosing scheme that I pointed out in my thread, and stay with the tamoxifen for now. After being on subQ for 4 weeks, then get labs done. When getting your E2 checked, try to get your doc to do the "E2 sensitive assay for males."
QtripsAlso, any shrinkage?
No shrinkage! And no libido either which sucks
Maybe a shorter ester test like sustanon would be good for that, and arimdex instead of tamoxifen - I think it blocks E2 differently
QtripsWell I'm on test prop for TRT and I've come to the conclusion that, if you don't mind doing an extra shot or two a week, it's the best test for TRT hands down. You would do it eod. What you need to do is find a source for HCG, or get it from your doc. As for the arimidex...I hate it. Worst form of AI, near impossible to get dialed in. I'll be trying I3C soon (google it) and aromasin when I go on cycle, as these are much more promising.
I just today went to my local Dr, they have order a big list of blood tests. They are not my regular Dr and are not familiar with hormone related issues and drug (apart from thinking you up to no good). Anyway I found a chemist who does all this product (with a script).
Testosterone 50mg/ml (as testosterone proprionate) injections 10ml. The recommended dose is 0.4-0.6ml (20-30mg testosterone) subcutaneously two to three times a week to mimic physiological levels.
Testosterone Cyprionate 200mg/ml 10ml.The recommended dose is 0.15ml to 0.25ml (20-33mg testosterone) SC two to three times a week subcutaneously into abdominal fat.
150iu/0.1ml HCG Inj 10ml Inject 0.1ml daily.
Anastrozole blocks estrogen 0.1mg daily.
.
QtripsI'm confused. Are you getting the above scripted for you? Prop is best for TRT, but cyppionate suffices. I'm telling you from experience, prop at 40-60mg eod, HCG at 150iu ed (this is individual), and an AI like I3c, which I have ordered and will be experimenting with, or aromosin----that is a good TRT protocol. The arimidex sweet spot is very hard to figure out--I have yet to in 3 years, and am ditching it. Enough is enough.
