TRT, Blasting, & Gyno
ad
I've read a lot of info the past couple of months, and I'm thoroughly confused on blasting while on TRT and gyno. I've been on test c for a couple years with a tumor on my pituitary gland, and dose at 200mg a week. I'm 31, 5'10" 215lbs at 17%bf. I'm looking to blast at 500 a week, test e only, and wanted to know how to handle gyno-which I know I'm prone to. Do you just start taking the adex once you've pinned for the first blast, or prior? Or, should I just wait and use the nolva I've got once it pops up? I know from prior experience that I'm prone @ 400 a week, so I want to make sure I've got it down.
Then as I understand, from the test E half life that I'll just continue at my normal dosage after blasting and won't need PCT.

I am sure everyone is different and can be effected differently but we have some similarities so far. My BF is similar too - should be a bit less now. I tested around 180-190 for Free Testosterone. My estrogen was high too - high 80's I think. The doc put me on 200 mg a week of Test Cyp. I am complimenting it with approx 300 mg of Test Prop and now I am running around 600 Free Testosterone levels. Still nothing amazing but dam I feel SO MUCH better. It has been a great couple of months. I am also using 2 i.u.'s of Kig 5-6 days a week ( not 7 because of some work travel ) I have been on the Kig for about 1 month now.
Any Adex or Nolva use for the estrogen? That's pretty high, considering male range is generally 10-30 (seen some of my tests indicating up to 50). But, that's all relative to the individual so the high 80's might not be a big deal for you.
yes I should have mentioned I am and have been running an anti estrogen since the test came back... i have not had it checked since but never had any gyno thankfully. I think I was emotional :)...
tread-mRunning a little adex off and on to help that estrogen?
yes I am - should have mentioned I have been since I got those results from the test.
200 mg a week seems like alot for trt
It is, however reading an 89 was pretty bad. I started with Androgel, that didn't work, moved to shots, and finally after about 15 months found a stable level at 200mg. It was 15 months of gradually moving up to this.
well good to here you got it sorted out i hated the gel to bud it sucks i still have like 5 months worth that i wont use
Yeah I just threw that shit away...I knew from researching that the gel is terrible but had to do the song and dance for the dr.
tread-mHe pulled an 89 test level though off cycle pre-trt
tread-mWhen you say you are prone to gyno, what do you mean? Actuall puffy and lumps or just a little sore, whats going on entirely and what is your bf% like? With your pituitary issue, have you had discussions with doc about the safety of higher test levels as it relates to that?
I mean the soreness and lumps. BF is 15-18%. I have talked with him about higher test and since I'm not producing much (my last test prior to TRT was at 89) he said to watch cholesterol. With the growth he's also watching thyroid production because as I'm sure you know, it's just one big cycle of hormone production.
tread-mOk then yes on the adex as signs roll up or just before knowing your place there. Do what you can to bring tht bf down further with diet, as you know I'm sure, the l?ess fat you have the less oppurtunity for estrogen/gyno. The leaner you can stay the better...not suggesting anything at all her, just curious for answers as to your condition. With your test being so low and the pituitary condition, have they looked at the fact that maybe a low growth hormone could be the root cause of the low test. Given the hpga balances the 2 my curious side makes me wonder if the condition creates less growth and in turn less test given the balancing job of the hpga. If you dont know those answers a visit to a good endocrinologist would be my suggestion. Dont mean to be nosey, just out of concern.
No worries, those are valid questions and my endo usually covers anything I have. Quite honestly, it gets really f'in confusing when talking about it all. How Pituitary effects thyroid, production of hormones, etc. Totally agree, the BF DOES need to come down more. I'm shooting for 12% and diet is spot on. I'll ask him next week about the HPGA stuff though!
tread-mOk, well let me tell you where I'm going with it so maybe you can ask the endo and we both learn something. If there is proof the pituitary issue is causing a defficieny in natty growth hormone would it benefit you to supplement that with a low level hgh or would that be dangerous to the condition itself. "IF" that were a problem and "IF" the supplement of hgh would benefit then it might actually help increase natural test through hpga balance and might even help you utilize your test supp much better. A lot of if's! Lol. I believe your situation actually normally causes a higher production of natty growth hormone but you never know until you know I guess....best of luck and let me know how it goes.
I actually brought this up when I first started researching and the conversation didn't go so well. IMO since I'm already a pretty muscular guy, he immediately pissed all over the conversation. I said fuck it and didn't bring it up again but I completely agree that it's worth exploring now. And, since he actually knows I've got a deficiency, I deserve a real answer. If I don't get one I'll find another endo. Thanks again for the suggestions and help, it really makes a difference!
Exactly, wait till u see sides of gyno, cuz like u said u KNOW from experience ur prone at 400/wk so at 500 you'll most likely see some gyno signs. And just use the adex once ur nips start gettin puffy and you'll start to arrest the situation from there ,then just use it for the remainder of ur lil cycle, ween down off adex last two wks and then just cruise on the 200/ wk.
Awesome, thanks man. I've got the Nolva...should I use that instead of the Adex or just scoop up the Adex? I know the Adex is better from reading tons of shit online but I'm just wondering if it's better with no PCT and being on TRT.
