Test results back today
46 years old about 235 at 5'9 with around 28% bf. Been working hard for 4 months on a good diet and exercise routine including heavy weights and cardio 4 x per week. I've lost a substantial amount of subq fat 20lbs or so but the vis fat hasn't budged one bit.
Got my lab test results back today and have a doctor's appt next week to discuss. The critical numbers are as follows: T: 286 igf-1: 186 HDL: 35 total Chol: 209 and the one worrying me the most triglycerides: 393. Everything else came back normal included psa (yay). Being self insured I'm thinking about trt on my own dime but only after I speak with my doc about it. I was just wondering what dosage is normal on a once or twice a week or even eod schedule to get T up around 1000 in the high normal range? Will this help move some of that Visfat and build lean mass easier? Anyone have experience with trt helping triglyceride levels. Although I'm a virgin I've read a lot about the process but I am looking for any wisdom that you bro's would like to share. Thanks!
