My visit to the Endocrinologist

ad

Saw the Endo today, apparently even oral steroids effect the pitutuary gland for up to 3 months from cessation of use, so she has taken another blood for test today as my ALT levels at 591 was excessively high to determine if it has fallen to a safer figure, before prescribing TRT she wants another blood test in mid febuary and another scheduled meeting early march to discuss the rtesults and any appropriate treatment.

Perhaps I was to honest in my responses but I do want genuine help and although dissappointed that nothing was prescribed understand that she is doing everything properly for a clinical need. Apparently in the UK they do not monitor estrogen levels in males and so don't do any AI with TRT, this doesn't sound sensible to me frankly so I may pay for private tests to be done a few months into therapy to see if my estrogen levels and testosterone/estrogen ratio is to high.Would appreciate any thoughts on this form the eroids community.
Thanks as always for your input.

@Lastchance57, patience is your friend. At 57 years old, you're well aware that daily decisions all add up. You've lost a bunch of weight, doing it the old fashioned way. Moving more, eating less. Day in, day out.

This is no different. Stay patient. Day in, day out. Hit the gym. Eat well. Drink lots of water and get enough sleep.

Don't be impatient. Fill your mind with education, and feed your body good food. February will be here before you know it.

Hello again zuesmarada,
I hope you and your family had a great christmas, I have allowed myself 12 months to lose the remaining couple of stone and like you said the basic plan is to eat healthily and exercise with weights and cardio training, hopefully that will allow my skin to shrink slowly without surgery to remove any excess skin, I'm not to bad at the moment so hopefully this will do the trick. The Endo was quite helpful and even mentioned GH depending on my next blood test in Febuary. Still waiting for the results of the december blood test and will chase that up asap. Incidently apparently lemon juice (half a lemon) with water helps flush the liver of toxins, something to do with the enzymes in the lemon, so I'll give that a try as well as the liver aid tablets I'm taking.
Have you started your TRT yet?

Maybe you could complain about sensiitive nipples once you start your trt and then they might test for estro.
