Frequent urinating

ad

Started TRT, 4 weeks ago, small dose, 75mg per week.

Ive noticed I am peeing a lot, some nights getting up 2-3 times! No problem peeing, just doing it a lot.

Is it a side of TRT?

Ive had this issue for about a year....I try not to drink anything a few hours before I go to sleep. Im gonna ask doc to check blood next visit...

If that doesn't help, try the exact opposite. I know it sounds crazy but I swear it has helped with me. Drink a glass of water before bed. You will still get up once or twice but not every hour or two.

Last few months I havent slept past 5:15 am. Sometime between 3:45 and 5:15 its over.

On the bright side it has been great for getting business crap done. But I certainly walk around tired a lot more than I would like.

I suspect with the sleep pills I get 3-4 hours of deep sleep and the brain is like "you good"....

I have first appointment with Endo in a few weeks. I went in to reg doc and got script. 200mg every two weeks and she seen my labs and told me to cut it in half.....lol....Come on doc

I have the same issue w/o being on TRT. Which I plan on starting after my next blood work in 9 days.

Got PTSD from Military stuff and was prescribed Trazadone as a sleeping aid. Problem with that stuff is you become dependent on it.
The misses was getting a lot in the middle of the night, because the Traz would get me full mast in my sleep. To the point it was painful, plus I like splashing her.
But she was getting tired of the surprise every night so I stopped taking it about a week ago (after 8 years, ha ha ha).
Not sleeping as well but still getting full mast.

I wonder if it will get worse on TRT and the wife will get the biz again and be pissed every morning

Are you peeing small bits or full bladder? I drink a lot of water, so I pee all day and a couple of times during the night. I try to make it a point to pee before I go to bed. I'm peeing pretty much a full bladder though, so I am not concerned. I suggest get some blood work and check your prostate chemical levels.

Get a PSA on your next bloodwork to make sure all is ok! If you sneeze/cough & you feel it....It’s enlarged!

Nice catch

Hi, no im not, but it is something im considering. I slept through last night, just made sure I didn't drink as much before bed. So think part of the problem was hydrating to much.

Lol I pie alot because i drink alot. Nothing beter that water to filter your body . I pie 2-3 times a night for years, nothing wrong with my prostate.

Grandmas advice, if you don't want to pie alot don't drink to much before going to bed. Stop drinking a couple hours before you go to sleep.

Cherry pie is good too, but my favorite was BlackBerry pie/cobbler.

Dude, I think 4 weeks in is just your body trying to find homeostasis. Your currently in hormone flux, all kinds of shit is changing. I wouldn't freak out yet, if this is still the case at 12 to 16 weeks ask your trt dr.

Your not a spring chicken either like green eggs and ham said!

It’s most likely age related. Your prostate enlarges and you don’t empty your bladder fully. This causes more frequent urination.
Any androgenic steroid can effect this.
Talk to your Dr about it...
