First ever cycle advice Test E
Hi I am new to the site
Im a 50 year old male I have been weight training for the past thirty odd years on and off as I am an ex rugby player
Ive recently been put on 250mg of Testosterone Enanthate every other week bymy GP
I am looking for advice and thoughts on the following plan I have been thinking about for running a cycle. I`m in pretty good shape as I have been back training hard for the past two years
Week 1 250mg on Monday 250mg on Thursday
Week 2 250mg on a Monday only
Week 3 250mg on Monday 250mg on Thursday
Week 4 250mg on a Monday only
And so on for a ten week cycle.
Then at the end of the cycle carry on with the250mg every other week prescribed by my GP.
Any thoughts as to if this is possible ?
and what else would I need to take I have been told I would need Arimidex
I have
read somany bits of advice my head is going to explode :-) and lots of it is contradicting I know everyone has their own thoughts and ways of running acycle of just Test E, but I would really appreciate some general advice on whatI would need and a pointer in the rite direction as to how long the cycle would last I have been told 14 weeks 12 weeks 10 weeks 8 weeks and every other combination between :-)
much appreciation in advance.

These lads have you in good hands. Their advice is solid. Get your blood work stable before even considering doing a cycle. In the meantime, dial in your diet NOW to try and optimize your health. It'll be much easier to embrace the idea of a cycle in six months if you can "clean up your diet" for the next 180 days, etc. Get through the holidays, and start next new year with six months of clean eating, six months of studying & research, and six months of stable blood work. That's my two cents. You're in the right place, and you have the right attitude to learn. If you come back here (I see you haven't logged in for over a week now as I type this) then you'll learn what you need to learn. Good luck.
As said below, your about a year out, get stable first.
As per your cycle thoughts, maybe do 200mg x 2 per week.
Or get a calender and pin every 5th day @ 250mg.
250mg test e; once every 2 weeks???
Surely that's a mistake?
Pretty common practice for TRT. That is how my doc started me out when I switched over to shots.
Wow
That just seems so counter-intuitive, even for the medical profession
I presume you didn't stick with that for too long?
I had to go in and get a shot from the nurse every two weeks. Now I have a script and can do it on my own. Now I do around 125mg once a week. Doc even said you are going to be on a rollercoaster with shots every two weeks but he still wouldn't do it weekly instead. Kept trying to push the pellet implants instead. May eventually do those once I stop competing.
that's pretty crazy
I'd say its going to take a few years for the medical profession to catch up
If you have just recently been put on TRT you should just run with your trt dose and see how your body responds first. With the cycle you have laid out, which is not ideal, what were you planning for an AI?
Thanks for the reply I have read on another site I would need .25mg of arimidex everyday? and 250iu HCG twice a week does this sound like good info or not ? is there anything else I would need to take ?
How long have you been on trt for? Your doc is going to be doing multiple blood tests to get your dose dialed in and you don't want to run a cycle until that happens otherwise your numbers will be all over the place.
I have only recently started got my third pin yesterday and have to get more bloods done next week I was not going to start a cycle for some time yet maybe the end of the year.
I have just started doing some research so I am prepared and have the correct info I need
I really appreciate you answering my questions.
As I have come across lots of different advice and opinions, I want to do as much research as I can.
Cheers Makwa
Would love to get more info from you as its all new to me :-)
Luckily I have found a good supplier here in Australia.
It could likely take up to a year to get your exact trt dose dialed by your doc. Cycling is a long way off for you. I really wouldn't even be worrying about right now. TRT dose may be a game changer for you and you may not even want/need to run a cycle.
Ok I did not realise that the doc could change my dose depending on my blood results, So there could be a possibility of him increasing my dose depending on blood results ?
I will take your advice and take it slowly and see how it pans out over the next 12 months or so.
Thanks again I will keep you informed of how I get on.
Would you recommend me taking anything for gyno ? or should I not worry about that with the current dose that has been subscribed to me ?
Cheers
Vialli.
Endocrinologist are actually supposed to adjust your dosage based on your self reporting of well-being. Some people feel like shit at test levels of 500. A very small percentage of patients are allowed up to, but not to exceed 2500.
Your bloodwork will still be the basis for how high they can allow.
Your doc could raise or lower depending on bloodwork. That iteration can continue for up to a year to get your dose figured out. Your doc should also be monitoring your estro but with trt dosing you shouldn't have to worry about gyno, just like you wouldn't have to worry about it if you still had your natty production. But, just ask your doc about it to be safe.
Weeks 1-10
There is no sense in only dosing once a week like that keep it even like the other weeks
250mg 2 x per week from week1 to week 10 you will have better results and more stable bloods
I would prob run this cycle 12 weeks just because of your age and monitor your blood pressure
Thanks for your reply and advice.
