endogenous vs. exogenous?

ad

I was at the gym today and talked with a guy who owns a pharmacy and blends his own compounds. Previously he had advised me to go to my doctor and get a script for the test gel he makes (similar to androgel). In my conversation with him today I mentioned that I had started doing a lot of research on the trt subject and was contemplating pinning my own test as I didn't see how going to the dr once a wk would be any different. He said I shouldn't inject test for long term therapy as it is exogenous and can cause cancer in the long run. He claims the stuff he mixes is identical to the test our bodies produce wtf? He said he shot cypionate for a few mos and his prostate started to get enlarged. I know theres always the possibility he's trying to sell me his goods as he works together with my dr.;=) but i wonder if theres any truth to what he sd. Any thoughts?

okay.
sorry if this has already been beaten to death, but I have been trying to make sense of this, and have seen that blood pH is supposed to be 7.30 to 7.45, which is only slightly alkaline. Now, if blood pH goes well below 7.3, we develop acidosis, and higher we develop alkalosis, both conditions that are medically unsafe for the body. So, what levels of alkalinity produce these results for the destruction of the free radical cells?

also, if free radicals are still formed in this range, 7.3-7.45, how would the cancer cell itself not be able to survive this pH after mutation?

I am interested to know what would cause the cancer formation, though, as the only thing i can think of that would produce free radicals from exogenous sources would be the possible mutation of the unused enzymes? complete guess, but i can't see any other function that would be affected, as mostly, it looks like health and immune factors improve...

Well gRRRRRRl, if Test without ester is a bio identical and not prone to cause cancer, are you saying it is just the esters that cause cancer??

The reason I ask is because, a lot of the esters are used for artifical flavoring.

Wiki : "Ester" and there is a list of flavors they deliver.

The saying "test is test" springs to mind. Spreading the stuff on your skin sounds like a fairly inefficient way of getting it to where you want it, not to mention the risks of getting it on the wife and kids etc. Sounds like the guy is full of shit IMO
