Can someone answer some questions about TRT, and fat metabolism?
So.
I've graduated college twice. I'm a business major and a Web Development major. 7 years in college. I graduated highschool in 2006. Ever since... I would say 6th grade i've been chubby, and always had that soft, chubby, no facial hair look. It followed me in to highschool, where I was soft, chubby, and just couldn't put any facial hair on. I did manage to lose 25ish lbs of fat in highschool I had carried since gradeschool. College was the same. soft, chubby, and couldn't grow a beard to save my life. I remember someone asking if I had even gone through puberty, as a joke. heh.
Fast forward to 2009 when I started my second college degree, I was still soft, chubby, and looked like I was 12, then all of a sudden one christmas eve in mass, I had a panic attack. It was horrible. from there was depression, anxiety, paxil, therapy, and I eventually took up weight lifting to sooth the depression. I graduated in 2011. i had made some noob gains, but then things took a turn for the worse.
I basically felt like I hit a wall in 2013. I just wanted to die. I was a total introvert, my body was just getting weaker, hair was falling out, i could eat 1700 cals and get fat, the depression got severe, anxiety was so bad i couldn't have fun anywhere, I had 0 sex drive, but the worst was that I was still this chubby, soft, man-boobish kid who had 0 self esteem and avoided social interaction.
In 2013, I got my testosterone levels check by my GP. 220 total. I had no idea what that meant but my GP put me on androgel and took me off Paxil (which didn't do shit). 4 months in to androgel and i felt no better. it wasn't working for shit. I still was so insanely depressed and just hated my life. I though nothing would ever be right, and i stopped androgel.
March of 2014, after spending my birthday alone, i felt like killing myself. I didn't try, I was too big of a pussy. One night i stayed up and researched until I felt like my eyes were going to bleed. I went to a new endocrinologist and he took my blood. My total T had dropped to 190. I was speechless. Mind you I was eating a diet that was supposedly beneificial for test levels (dietary fats, very low sugar, lots of zinc and veggies, and grassfed meats).
So. I was scheduled for an MRI for my pituitary. came back fine, and my endo decided that the cause is undetermined. Injections it was. I took 4 injections. 200 every other thursday, of cypionate. i felt ok, but I got it bumped to 200 every thursday.
It wasn't until weekly injections that I started feeling happy. It's been about 10 days since i've felt like a new human. I've cried out of sheer happiness.
What testosterone Cypionate TRT has done for me:
I can finally get an erection
I have a sex drive and am trying to get with a girl this weekend
I have energy to lift and bike
I have motivation
I go out with friends
I always have a smile on my face
No depression, still a tiny bit of anxiety still
I have some acne
These are my questions. I am a noob and I know these questions may seem dumb;
I feel like I missed puberty. I do have a deep voice, but I'm still a pudgy mofo. If my test levels were so low, is it possible I'm going thru a second puberty? I have had sex a few times before and always had a sex drive up until a few years ago.
What can testosterone do in terms of body recomp?
How does testosterone directly relate to fat storages especially visceral fat?
Do i need to accommodate for the higher test levels when doing cals in < cals out?
Is there anything I can do with TRT to maximize fat loss? I feel like most of my life I was estrogen dominated :/

Proud of you for the transparency bro! Do me a favor and look through my pics. You will see a chubby middle aged man. Three years in the making and I just did my first bodybuilding show. Not saying you want to do that, just saying that there are those of us that can relate to your situation and can help you down your path! My numbers started at 202 and I am running 1199 prescribed by my doc. My goal recently was to get to the next level with planning, nutrition, and workouts. I got down to 6-7% bf for the show, which is the lowest in my lifetime. You can do this bro!!! If you need anything and if I can help, hit me up!
Some of us were born looking young... you'll reap the rewards for that later in life -Trust me, it's a good thing.
Testosterone can up your metabolism and help burn fat.
Do not adjust your cals if you want to loose some of the fat you are carrying. check out the forums in this link:

Now that your mood is up, start doing cardio and working out, any outdoor activity is good.
DON'T think your TRT is a magic bullet.
Most of what needs to happen next depends on you. Good diet and exercise is what's needed now.
The book "The Testosterone Advantage Plan." will answer a lot of the questions you have. http://www.amazon.com/The-Testosterone-Advantage-Plan-Weight/dp/0743237919
