26 FUCKING YEARS OLD and my total testosterone is 194
I don't have a blood test, it's at my endo's, but Jesus Christ. I was too upset to even care about anything else like SHBG or LH. 1 year ago this time it was 220 ng/dl
As of now I am on Testosterone Cypionate 200mg every 14 days.
Symptoms which drove me to the doc:
Depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, no energy, no sex drive, ED, I could pack on fat, couldn't lose it and couldn't make any progress in the gym. 0 self esteem and the WORST was my puffy nipples.
I just got my second shot of CYP from my doctor today.
Have noticed a better mood, but not much yet in the way of increased energy. I have been achieving erections, but it's random and only in the morning when I wake up.
after 4 shots I will get a blood test to see where I am.
Any tips for a young guy like me?
Hoping for the best... Gotta love insurance. $15 a month for dat cyp

I feel you bro. I was in your same shoes at the same age. Unexplainable weight gain, depression, insomnia, low sex drive. Me and the ole lady didn't have sex for 8 months bc my drive just wasn't there. So, I feel your pain. I'm 33 now and that's a thing of the past. At the time, I couldn't get coverage so clinics were my only option, and out of pocket gets expensive.
Long story short, I'm on 200 mg cyp every week. Plus, 1 mg adex for estro control and hcg for fertility and testicular atrophy control.
IFit raises a valid point. Due to the half life of the drug, your levels will be on the decline significantly by the time you get your next shot. This is one reason I do not use my primary care physician. He does not prescribe, he administers. And he does not focus on the axis as a whole. No estro control and nothing to keep the boys from shriveling up.
Ask your doctor if he would be willing to split the dose and do 100 mg every week, instead of biweekly at 200. If he asks why or feeds you some shit, tell him that with a drug half life of approx 10 days, you'd rather split it and keep your levels more stable than what the biweekly shots provide.
Also, and i can almost guarantee you what his answer will be, but mention an aromatase inhibitor for estro control and hcg for fertility and atrophy issues. He may agree to hcg before the AI. Because this is not where physicians specialize, they have different views on some of these aspects.
Bottom line is testosterone aromatizes (converts to estrogen), as does hcg. Too much estro has negative effects on natural production of test. Yes, your levels are already low, but we don't know which part of the axis is causing this.
Testosterone supplementation also sends negative feedback signals to the hypothalamus, which produces gonadatropin releasing hormone. This hormone stimulates the release of the gonadatropins LH and FSH. These hormones further act to stimulate the cells in the testes responsible for producing testosterone and sperm.
You can see the chain reaction now, hopefully.
Glad to hear it helped you! did you notice it after 2 or 3 injections? 1mg adex every day? I will certainly tell him I need it every week, makes sense. So you're saying supplementing testosterone makes my balls make more semen and test?? I'm confused by the last paragraph.
So the Arimidex stops it from converting to estrogen or just blocks the effects?
Thanks for the words dude! 200mg a week pretty life changing??
200 a week is actually more than what I need for getting levels back to normal. I drop down to 100 a week when I have to run bloodwork. My adex is 1mg twice a week. With the test and hcg, that's what i need to keep it in check. The AI binds to the enzyme to prevent it from latching to your test and converting it. And testosterone suppresses the production of the other hormones that cause the production of natty test and sperm. Hcg replaces that and keeps them running.
that clears alot up! thanks. so 100mg is pretty normal?
Yes. Mad long it's dosed accurately. True pharma and you don't need to worry about that. A lot lf good info around here brother. Welcome to Eroids
Thanks a ton! can i ask you 1 last question? is your adex pharma or from an online source? I don't know if my doctor really thinks I may need an AI
It comes from a compound pharmacy, not UGL.
Boom! That's the guy to listen to.
I'm not a big fan of going 2 weeks between injections even for TRT. Causes too much of a roller coaster on your levels. Ask your doc about self administering your injections more frequently. I'd much rather do 100mg every week than 200mg every 2 weeks. May seem the same on paper but much different in reality.
I'll tell my endo to change that! maybe I'll need 200 a week after bloods
Believe it or not some people that are younger do have low test, and like you said all those sides you were having are very real. Depression and no sex drive is horibble. there isnt anything wrong with being on trt. Thats if you need it. Some people have perfect test levels and stay on forever. That shit is stupid though because you risk shutting down your hpta permanently.
it's tough man. thought about killing myself a few times. Pills didn't help so I got bloods. Thank you for the words, can't wait to feel better!!!
