brain fog and AI's
I struggled for years with the symptoms and issues associated with low test. The problems became unmanageable and I decided the only thing worse than being on trt for the rest of my life would be continuing to live the way I was. I have been on doctor supervised trt for about 5 months now. Before my test ranged from 250-300 and my estro was so low it would not even give the actual number on blood work. My last bloods from the Dr showed that my test had increased to around 500 and my estro was around 30. Even though my estro was still "normal range" I was getting extremely sensitive nipples. He put me on half a pill of Adex and I cant remember the exact mg dose it is per week. It made me so brain dead that I started doing injections twice a week instead of once and a quarter of pill of Adex twice a week. This seemed to help some but its still clock work, each time I take the Adex my cognition and memory recall decreases to below 50% of where it was prior for a day or two. Really the only side effect I get from estro being out of blanace is sensitive nipples and small lumps. Its becoming concerning because the lumps are increasing very slowly but at times I'm forced to chose take the adex and be brain dead or be able to cognitively function. At times its imperative that I mentally function at a high level and am forced to skip the adex.
All the background info aside, my question is, do any of you suffer the dreaded brain fog?
If you do, did switching to a different med fix the problem?
I have an appointment with him next month and plan on talking to him about this because its hugely problematic. I would like to have a little more to be able to mention in the conversation or possible ideas to correct the situation, if there are any.
Thanks in advance for any insight or ideas...

Aromasin all the way brother!
Research it.
bigmurphIm not the expert on trt but I don't see why you couldn't use a dose of Nolvadex to stop the gyno symptoms especially because if your estro is already low. I wouldn't just start Nolvadex but maybe bring it up to your doctor and ask if its a viable alternative.
You could definitely run a SERM like NOLVDEX or even RALOXIFENE if you don't like or cant tolerate AI's.
Heres the bloods I could access, this was the last blood work I had done independently a month or so before going to the doctor. I was slightly off from what I initially remembered. I had a lot of blood panels done within a 6 month period, the typical menopause panel as well as lipid panels and thyroid.

Wait a second you had low test and almost zero E2, post up a blood and get rid of all your personal info on it. I need to see what your other numbers are because that is very below normal for low test and could indicate an issue somewhere else not related to hypergonadism or whatever the fuck it's called.
I believe that it's. .25 MG twice a week. I noticed it didn't have as severe of an effect if I take it the day after injection so thats when I've been taking it for the past 2 to 3 weeks.
my body fat isn't too high, less than 15%.
I have aramasin, I don't remember having this issue, at least not this bad when I ran cycles in the past. I don't want to just switch on my own, I want to try and stick to what he oversees.
RustyhookerWondering if you're higher in bodyfat? And taking .25e3d? On pin day?
Manwhore below has a good view to ponder as well.
Well I'm not on TRT but I had the same effect with adex, and day after adex same shit brain fog ,I got so sick of it I switched to aromasin which is a little harder to dial in for some as far as dose ,but that corrected the brain fog issue, hope it help brother ,
