controlling stomach bloat
ad
So this is a bit of a general question but my girlfriend is having a hard time controlling her stomach bloat. I know it can be harder for women to control this issue. So, what do some of you ladies do for this? She has some health issues so I'm trying figure out drug-free methods.

Thanks for your responses and sorry for the delay on my part.
her diet consists of;
breakfast (before cardio)
oatmeal, protein (dymatize elite) coconut milk
the she eats around 8 meals of;
veggies, chicken, beans, quinoa
100-125 grams veggies, 75-100 grams chicken, 100-125 grams quinoa, 50 grams beans per meal.
the veggies are usually;
tomatoes, zuchini, bell peppers (one red one yellow/orange or green), carrots, garlic, ginger root
edit; she doesnt eat chicken with every meal, she usually doesnt go over a pound a day.
consumes one gallon of water a day
does not take many supplements other than the dymatize elite and dymatize iso-100 (post workout)
Her stats are
5'1" and 115 lb dry in morning
Heres what may make this a little but more tricky, shes got thyroid issues and is on levothyroxine. Lately she seems to be having a bit of hormonal imbalance. Her sex drive is up and down and shes been getting a bit more depressed and emotional around her periods. She was eating vegetarian for a few months to see if that made a difference. It seemed like the change is diet helped bloat a little but it was making her hormonal issues worse. I'm wondering if the decrease in fat in her diet was affecting her hormones.
Before we started dating she ate like complete crap and had a very tight stomach which I find a bit strange.
waltri can tell you from personal experience beans of any kind bloat the crap out of me.
Shiva... Both Waltr and Abaddon are right... Diet, birth control, the health issues she has.. can all be leading factors.. we need a little more information. I will FR you..
I suggest searching around and trying to find some reputable women on here and asking them directly. Even if your girl wants to stay drug free that's totally great but have her create and account on here and join the women's group. The women on here are 2nd to none and the classiest group of women on this planet and they will have absolutely no problem helping her with proper diet, training and any other problems that women deal with on a day to day basis. Andromeda, Alayna, HotPinkGirl or anyone of the others are top notch.
waltrIs she on birth control?
That's a big one for causing bloat in women.
Diet is another issue, different foods can cause stomach bloat (diet sodas [carbonated beverages in general really], chocolate milk [milk in general])
We really need more information about her daily life to answer this question properly. =/
The only suggestion I could give without more information is to drink more water.
