+ 1 Back from the grave

ad

Used to love this site and stepped away from a the lifestyle for six years give or take. I’m over 40 now and got my bloodwork twice and was low. So I started trt and getting back into the lifestyle and starting to feel great again. I will say this site has changed a lot and it’s going to take some time to get used too lol

Bruh! I feel the stepping away and coming back. In my mid 20s I said fuck this fitness shit and for 2 years I ate cheese cake and complained to my girl about everything like a total bitch. Got my shit together fitness wise at 28 and started hiking. I was 250 lbs of fat lard and it took me two years before I could actual run and then in my 30s I was doing small triathlons and just kept building. Man we are human shit happens and we fuck up. But what’s important is you recognize it and make a change so congrats and welcome back to the gang!

Baby steps at first. I was off for an entire year. Never thought I could make it back. Started back out with all beginner routines. Dropped the 20lbs of fat and replaced with 15lbs of muscle. Bigger and better than ever now. Stick with it and it will happen.
Nice to see you back by the way. Preved

You was always an animal. A year I took like six years off lol. But I’m back in the grind and missed it more than I realized

Welcome back tide. I took two years off the gym and had a few injuries in between "Work injuries”. Many of us are in the same boat and some didn’t miss a beat. You’ll get used to the format of the site even though I missed the old one from a decade ago. I’ve been working out consistently for a month with diet in check and I’ve made significant progress already, also hoping to run a test only cycle in April but I don’t think my body will be ready so I might have to postpone (bf in high teens). It’s a humbling experience to have to climb back up but we’ll get there.

Yeah it is a humbling experience for sure bro lol. I used to throw weight around like a mad man now I’m back and in my 40s and everything hurts lol

Alot of us old guys on TRT here. Cruise and blast is the status quo for us these days. Glad you're getting back on it. I had a quite bit longer hiatus form lifting. 15 years... But even with that length of time, muscle memory still did it's thing.

Yeah I’ve made huge strides just on trt. Started in October. Was feeling crappy and my doc suggested I get my bloodwork done. The first time i can back at 260s and the second 240s. I’ve definitely feel like a new man lol

I started about the same time last week of October. Started lifting again beginning of September and got my body right and used to the gym again before I started dosing. Worked well I'm up 30 lb I look way better than I did 6 months ago.

Awesome job bro. It’s inspiring to hear stories like yours. My trt is only 1/2 ml a week but it’s made a huge difference in the quality of my life. I’ve not gained anyweight but lost fat and added muscle in that time frame.
