Anyone have tips for Cruising Test Cyp?

ad

Hi Guys! I'm 44 years old at 225 with around 14% BF. I'm doing my first cycle in over 10 years and feel amazing. I have more zest for life, my depression is gone and I have a natural good mood. My head feels better than it has in years and I defiantly want to continue feeling this way. Just happy and normal...ya know? Currently I'm doing Test Cyp (alone) @ 500 a week split in two doses for 12 weeks. For me this isn't about just looking good anymore it's about feeling more like my old self now. So I want to learn how to cruise and would appreciate some feedback about the approach i should take, dosing and so forth...

AayKay, I suffer depression and have been on daily medication to cope for decades now. Boxjump's comments are uniformed on the subject and depression is rarely linked to your situation such as how much money you have. It's a disease, not just having 'the blues'.
Anyway, I understand your feeling on Test. I feel great on it also but I know it's not a replacement for depression medication. I still have down days (and no, I don't have the urge to kill anyone) but the average days are just so much better. I honestly think I will blast and cruise forever now. The ups and downs are there but significantly less. The sense of well-being is something I hadn't felt for a long, long time. The benefits far outweigh the cost for me.

This is exactly how I feel. I quit benzodiapines over 3 years ago and don't drink hardly at all (I had 1 six pack last year). It was a personal decision I made to combat my depression thru lifestyle modification, working out and meditation and is fully supported by my docs. I just couldn't live my life in the fog of benzos any longer...I do keep them around though just in case and always will, after all I'm only human. I am just so grateful that Test C has given me my old self back and for the support of the people on Eroids it really has been such a positive thing for me and has far exceeded my expectations. Thank you for the comment brother peace

Good for you for fighting it with lifestyle change, your braver than me. I'm pretty much resigned to the fact I will be on meds for life (I'm too scared not to now) but as the main reason I have them is for sleeping, I'm not affected that much during waking hours like you seemed to be.
Test has been a real surprise and I wish I had of started on it long ago. Feel better, look better, actually look ahead when I'm walking instead of at the ground. :-)
I know it's off your initial topic of post but all the best with your fight against the black dog.

For one this isn't a self fulfilling prophesy I have a clinical illness. For two I have a minor in Psychology and know what I am talking about when it comes to depression and other forms of mental disorders.

Also thanks for the "borderline killers" comment...that's really awesome of you. You are really coming across as both sensitive and educated. "A lot of people are depressed and they live really good lives" really? Oh gee thank you for pointing this out to me! Really what would i do without your condescending advice???

When was the last time you had blood drawn and you said your depression was gone. Was or are you taking some type if medication? Are you running an AI with your Cyp?

AayKay's picture

I take Zoloft only when my depression hits really hard which is about every 90 days and lasts about a week. I hate taking this stuff and prefer to eat really clean, work out and do daily meditation to keep my depression in check. I'm getting adex it's on the way and have nolv already. i'm experiencing no sides at all, no rage or up and down emotions whatsoever. I am absolutely convinced that I was Low T from the start.

So you haven't done any cycles in 10 years, so since you were 34. When you did those cycles and finished did you ever do a pct or anything to help bring your body back homeostasis? How long have you been battling your depression? What other symptoms were you experiencing that lead you to believe its lowT? Low sex drive. No energy. Stamina?

AayKay's picture

I did no PCT back then. Depression and panic attacks arrived at 40 years old after a major shooting incident I was involved in (was a bodyguard). Since then...low sex drive, low energy and depression.

ShreddedCheddar's picture

Okay. This is my honest opinion and this is what I would do. I would finish out your cycle and start your pct 2 weeks after your last injection. Your pct will be 4 weeks.

Clomid 100/100/50/50
Nolva 40/40/20/20.
After you finish your pct you'll take some time off from anything. Except lifting and diet of course. Time on+pct= time off. After you have had your time off I would get blood work done just to have everything backed up by a medical professional. This way you can actually have the paperwork and the mental comfort that it is low T if that's truly the culprit. I mean we can sit here all day and self diagnose but there maybe something that we don't see that blood work is going to show.

AayKay's picture

Agreed. I have had all other blood work done and even an MRI all were fine with a perfect bill of health from my doc. The only thing I haven't tested is for low T specifically.

AayKay's picture

That's why I'm of the opinion that it's low T. I've had battery's of tests done and as far as my doc is concerned have the body of a 30 year old...Low T just seems to be the only thing left.

I would have that checked out for piece of mind. As far as everything else how are your gains going for your cycle?

AayKay's picture

Gains are pretty great I must say! I'm killing it in the gym and my focus and diet are really on point. My only concern now is when I get of cycle and my mental state returning to a less than happy state.

ShreddedCheddar's picture

Thats something which perfectly normal to be concerned with. Clomid can cause what they call the "pct blues". During your pct you can also take Tribulus, fenugreek and goldenseal. This will help with those "pct blues". But remember its a mental thing so try not to let it get to you.:-)

Thank you for the time and advice bro! =)

No problem at all! Hope I was of some help.:-)
