I'd have to say when I made it through Air Force special operations selection and got handed my beret, I got kicked in the dick and my ass smoked for a long time, but once I got my beret... So many dudes quit or got weeded out, having my fat ass graduate it....Greatest feeling ever.

GRIMEY's picture

My greatest accomishments this far would have to be overcoming some serious personal issues such as addictions and bankruptcy. Recently purchasing my first house and on top of all that my 10 year relationship with an awsome girl whom I will be marrying next year.

That is awesome bro, congratulations.

I tried to have a child for 7 years. I eventually had to stick soft cups up my wife's vagina and I was actually on clomid when she conceived. It was a miracle to me.

I have accomplished a hell of a lot to name only one. Winning my war against coke, keeping my mouth shut and not snitching costing me 5 years of my life. Marrying a girl who showed me that life was not all about hatred and war. Finishing college for the second time. Trying new things I was always fearful of which turns to facing my fears head on. Boxing as a kid and losing only 1 fight out of 30. Helping out at the soup kitchen every week. Learning to walk away from people you know you could hurt and loving the choice you made. Staying sober. Turning my obesity into fuel to get in shape and then making it come true. Finally starting a tren cycle even after being scared shitless about it.

Nitti's picture

What weight class?

IrishMack's picture

Lightweight I was 135 at that time

rolltide3's picture

Hmm so if we ever get into no boxing u take u to the ground lol. Making mental note. Good post Mack Smile

IrishMack's picture

lol im short and your tall, ill roll up my sleeves and punch you in the shin.

rolltide3's picture

Lol that's funny shit. Shows your character not rolling and doin your time. If only more people was like that bro

IrishMack's picture

I would never rat out my friends, even though they turned on me, one of the main reasons why I trust noone.

rolltide3's picture

If everyone would just keep there mouth shut most times le wouldn't even have a case. Do u talk to any of them nowadays

IrishMack's picture

Not at all, they dissappeared and noone knows where they are.

rolltide3's picture

Oh they moved ;)

jansen's picture

Of course my kid is my greatest accomplishment but the fact that I fought tooth and nail to get full custody of her to get her out of a bad situation, won, and have raised her by myself since she was 2 is something im very proud of. I spent every dollar I had trying to accomplish this. Wasnt long and I was in a really bad financial situation which since i have dug my way out of and am back on my feet living comfortably, raising my kid, and pumping iron!

jansen's picture

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Weakclumzoof's picture

this really is something to be proud of a great achievement and a super outcome i could not wish you and your family more luck

WINNING's picture

Wow, brother great way to man up! You are a stand up guy, which is an essential characteristic In a father.

WINNING's picture

Well I've always been one to procrastinate, however I am a paramedic/emt. I have a decent job in a hospital and I'm more than halfway done with nursing in college. I have a nice family house, in a gated community ect. But all that meh ( shrugs shoulders) I suffered from Ptsd back in 2007-2008 which sucked. I was into coke a bit and xanax, selling and using ect.I met my wife quit all that shit we had a beautiful little girl and it completely changed my life! I haven't fcked with any drug in forever, if I drink it's only a maximum of 6 beers.

vhman's picture

That's easy. My kids and my marriage. Been married for a quarter century (it sounds impressive when I say it that way), and I have happy and successful kids. Nothing more satisfying than that for me.

irongame427's picture

That's a tough question man. I guess id have to say finally quitting opiates. But now I'm hooked on gear lol. But I will say this. During my time using gear I've only had to rob cvs once and I only took enogh for a simple test deca anadrol cycle instead of all the opiates they had in the pharmacy. But in all seriousness getting off drugs and staying off has been my greatest accomplishment so far. And in two months I recieve two bachelors degrees so that will be cool to.

McMeanie87's picture

Damn gear got me hooked too lol that's awesome bout the upcoming degree and stopping drugs, were all lucky to get second and third chances at life lol.

irongame427's picture

Lol I think I'm on my 10th by now if not more.

pimplybutt2012's picture

I have accomplished a few things of which I am very proud to place my signature on.To list them here would breach too much anonymity.I am satisfied that I can live each day one at a time.Live Simply and Be humble.Do not judge my fellow man for i have not walked in his shoes, nor he in mine.Yeah , I am satisfied with that.

McMeanie87's picture

So far I've been winning the battle with drugs and alcohol for quite a while now, my family said i wouldnt live to see 22, and here I am 27, still struggle sometimes.but I love my life and the people I have in it. I don't have to wake up and get high to deal with life on life's terms. Feels great not waking up sick every morning because I don't have a substance to put into my body..some people say I'm not clean because aas is a mind and mood altering chemical but they can suck it, I'm not robbing your house for gear..I should of been dead a long time ago, God has given me chance after chance and now im living a great life with great people instead of killing myself everyday with people that were never true friends, only thing we had in common was addiction.God bless all you eroids brothers and sisters.

rolltide3's picture

I walked that same path bro. Keep your head up and remember the past. Everyone makes mistakes ,learn and live with them. In the end it will make u a better person. Life never easy but u can conquer anything

fusebox's picture

Two things. To have made it as far in life as I had. Ive had many setbacks in my time. Most of them self inflicted. And my wife and kids. Who are the reason I've made it where I have. I have no choice I am not going to fail them. I had to step up and follow through. And there is no stopping me now.

Engineereddisaster's picture

Excellent!

UgtaBkdNme's picture

My kids of course. I'll give my husband a little credit there too I guess Smile I had my littlest with zero drugs, I'm still amazed I lived through that lol But making kids is not an accomplishment IMO, if they grow up into amazing people that will be my accomplishment. Although, staying home with 3 kids and not killing them is an accomplishment some days. (soon I'll have 9 years as a full time mommy, only 3 more years until the last one is in school and I'll be FREE!!!!!)

I did some pretty cool shit while in the military, seen some places, got some medals, fixed a lot of jets. But I've never been one to have goals. Odd I know, I'm a fly by the seat of your pants kind of person. But recently I've decided I want to compete in the NPC figure class. I'm planning my for my first show to be early in 2015. It's nice to have something to work towards.

Engineereddisaster's picture

Fantastic!

Pale's picture

I think most of us would rank our wife and children first, but next to that I am pretty pleased that I came from nothing, broke a lot of rules and still went on to be a successful small business owner. I am proud that I never gave up and still to this day keep fighting to accomplish whatever I set my sights on. My goal in the short term is to get even leaner, and long term to have a place in the sun to spend my time when I get a little older.

Engineereddisaster's picture

Very good. It's always been evident that are the kind of guy that gets shit done.

rolltide3's picture

Great answer. Keep fighting the good fight bro Smile

Pale's picture

Thanks guys. Sometimes I feel like I am losing the fire within but then I just stop and find it again.

rolltide3's picture

Might be corny but the birth of my son and been a great dad. Been there for him thru thick and thin. Guess I'm a simple guy

Engineereddisaster's picture

Not corny at all brother. In fact pretty tough to top in my book.

rolltide3's picture

It is rewArding just goin in the yard and playn ball. I missed out on all that my dad never even threw a baseball to me. He was an abusive alcholic. It means a lot to me guys thank u

Ps ed another stellar forum Smile

Engineereddisaster's picture

Hey bro, breaking that cycle is a huge accomplishment. Just kicked you up a few notches in Ed's book of badass people.

Pale's picture

I agree, breaking that cycle is huge. I think many of us carry battle scars from our childhood, I know I feared marriage because I didn't want it to end up like my parents did. But here I am working on 18 years now. Smile

Growing up I remember hearing over and over that we would repeat the mistakes of our parents, we would continue alcohol abuse, divorce, philandering, etc, but it isn't true. We all walk our own path and make our own choices.

rolltide3's picture

It's funny u say cycle cause my dad never even meet his dad till he was 18. I'm scared of failing my son it's my driving force in life

fusebox's picture

Same for me. Never met my real dad. His dad gave my Mom 100 bucks for an abortion. Never came back. Fuck him. Better off without him.

rolltide3's picture

Oh I meet my dad but he was just a mean drunken ass. That would rather tell me how worthless pos I am. Known him my whole life but he's never hugged me never told me he loved me shit never even told me he was proud of me. He's different with the grandkids he's had three heartache and he's changed to them but not to his kids. I'm sorry bro that's a hard road to hold be a better man for it and for your kids. Stop that cycle it is easy to have kids it takes a real man to raise them. One of my favorite sayings is. I've never stood as tall as when I knelt down to help a child

fusebox's picture

I understood what you were saying. I love that attitude. Our legacy is only as strong as the ties to our children.
