just bought a pair of otomix .. I looked thru 1000's of sneakers..including used ones.
Ive had a pair of cons that i have used till they died..Honestly. .. these thing rock.
I thought I would hate them.. opened the box and slipped them on.. they are -this- close
to feeling just like my old cons.. best $100 ive spent on shoes in a while..
thought I would rant.

Kid at my gym had a pair of nike air boxing shoes. Looked comfortable as fuck. Looked a lot like wrestling shoes but a little thicker. Wanna try em out.
I used to wear a pair like that on the wrestling team in H.s. To me they look ugly, but they are comfortable as shit. I had the all black pair, I felt like a ninja with them on. Like Willy says (underneath my comment) I rock the low cut new balance vibrams. Good stuff otomix... i have 2 pair and they are fkn disgusting now, all tattered and stuff but no way am i throwing them away bro, its like wearing socks they are so broke in and comfy.
I normally just wear some old nike to the gym. I think I'm one of the few people that don't wear toe shoes in my gym. Lol.
i only wear brooks pure line. worse shoes i have owned are nike. i was a dedicated runner till bought nike running shoes, in one week i had shin splints so bad i couldnt walk, its been over a year and i still have the shin splints. i know how people get over Nike, but imho theyre garbage, nothing more than a fashion statement.
I used to use a work boot... but i rotted those out . same with the sneakers. I have bad knees and I need some sort of support around the ankles. But they stopped making high tops that look decent or will work well.
I bought some wrestling sneakers and I couldnt get my big toe in them. The high tops now look like they belong on women.. colors are disgusting and they put this shitty mesh on them.. normal leather high tops you cant find any more.
I see more girls wearing ugly ass dude high tops than guys, seriously when did it become hot for girls to dress like a teen hood rat boy.

I bought some black addidas wrestling shoes a year or so ago, they felt a little weird at first but I love them now.
wrestling shoes - are what i wanted to begin with.. there flat soled and there high tops. I am either going to get a second pair of these or look for an Asics Wrestling shoe or something similar.
Damn bro, sounds like your only other option are cowboy boots, lol
