winter - and the change in diet.
ad
I made for dinner., grilled steak. plain white rice.(steamed.).baked zuchs, and Ice water.
Today was one of the first days I could go out side and use the grill with out freezing. Im in the midwest
and the temps have been horrible here all winter. .. That being said.,, I have had to change what I eat because I cant grill and eat what I usually do.
How does winter change your diet when you cant do what you normally eat and how do you compensate for it. ? I get sick eating the baked chicken. I have a killer kitchen but after so many times of eating the same thing it makes me ill
Suggestions for the winter kitchen ?

my diet change consists of eating more and more daily, winter and summer lol
I have the grill in the garage.. I freeze my a-s off sitting there. cant wait to get the smoker running again.
ribs and brisket.
I bet everything comes off of the grill rare so you don't have to sit out there waiting for it to cook more
not rare..but everything still goes into the oven when it comes off the grill.
Even during the summer. Especially chicken. If you let it sit there to long it dries it out.
gas and charcoal are completely different .
Nice, judging by your avi I'd say you know a thing or two about tasty food
meat is (imo) always better grilled. pot roasts and stuff like that shrink them up
so much it always looks like a waste to me..
Stick that grill right outside your patio door. It blocks the view but 30 below zero and I'm still grilling steaks and chicken!
We do a lot of soups and stuff in the slow cooker. You can have a wide variety of meals that way, but I'm definitely ready to fire the grill back up for sure.
