Why GearHead's karma has been stripped
I don't usually call people out like this, but this case is kind of special.
The guy has been impersonating a professional athlete. Gearhead submitted photos of a person that clearly isn't him, no matter how much he wants you to believe that.
Consider this as a PSA announcement of sorts.
Do not always believe what someone tells you, as more often than not it is too good to be true. No one knows if he is in shape or not, has the real world experience he claims to have, and most likely is a regular guy with a few friends who walk the walk, that he knows he can replicate on an anonymous forum like ours.
His stories aren't adding up and are contradicting each other with the more he says, to the point where he is scrambling to get someone to listen to his rants. So we did a lot of digging and found out a lot that doesn't add up. Enough where we are sure enough to come to the community and warn you all and inform you about our findings. Instead of banning him we let you the members make the call.
In closing be careful who you believe sometimes and to the members who are in a similar boat or tell all the crazy stories, know that we are watching and members pick up on things also and let us know. Eventually you will be caught, we do our job to the best of our abilities.

I've been out of the loop for a while so this is news to me! My take is this, we all make bad choices during our lifetimes, we all have skeletons in the closest, and we're all human and imperfect! Hence, everone deserves a second chance to make things right and redeem themselves! And I'm not speaking about horrific crimes against humanity when I say this!
So my opinion is no banishment and let him earn his karma back by making things right!
Dam well he has been around here a good while and that should stand for something, that being said seems like he did or had done some suspicious things like you said above post a pic which is not him so that's leads me to question him and all he has contributed here to the forum.
Maybe he should come forth and tell his side and or come clean to try to save some of his credibility here....

What I'd like to know is what were his intentions for creating a false identity. Free gear, popularity, approval from a bunch of people whom he's never met and doesn't really know? Fake ass bs people like that can never be trusted. Just my .02
Do I agree with what he did no but I'm not one to throw stones ... But I do know he is very knowledgable on cycles /AAS ... He knows his shit when it comes to that , that alone has to count for something doesn't it ? With that said I've gotten really good advice with guys with basic tags as well

My point is tony is you can tell when a person parrots or repeats things I had a few conversations with him and he was able to figure out a issue I had imesdiatly not trying to stir shit here just giving a different point of view
I vote no on banning , I to have had my demons last year and went down a wrong path. I think he should be given a second chance I mean talking with him in the past he has a lot of knowledge that can be shared

I've had some conversations with many members here on the same topic about these guys with high karma and nobody ever seen a pic from them.
Proof is in the pudding guys. If nobody has ever seen your physique then your "expertise" means shit!

But to get my old Tag I had to show my face with the date. The thing that's been eating me is the gear pics. Well unfortunately I'm in that category and always will be whilst I work in the field I do. Reality check, some of us are in positions where it isn't worth the risk. My credibility on here simply isn't worth anything slightly resembling my career and never will be. Maybe this is an area where tags held by people in that position are removed etc.
Some lie, some don't. But the more time goes on the more lies and bulkshit fake personas I see come and go. This whole saga with Gearhead unfortunately makes us all doubt who people are. It's a real shame. I genuinely had time for the guy, or at least who I thought he was.
There is and never will be a requirement to prove your identity. But if you do put a pic that obviously belongs to someone else we are going to have to start digging and in this case all he did was talk in circles instead of simply taking another pic like Pmob did and send it to BFG or one of us mods to prove himself. Hardly forcing him to reveal anything. Especially in this case where we really had all the names we needed.
We absolutely encourage everyone to protect their identity, but we also have to protect the integrity of Eroids. In this case he himself opened pandoras box.

Unfortunately there's an element of getting away from what happened here and ranting on about a peripheral issue. There's a major difference between posting pics of a pro and claiming them to be your and choosing not to post pics.
I wish I had that ability, or maybe I don't lol. But you will have to send me a copy at some point. I will tell you that he did pm me the same pics as Tony, except with mine he added several more shots than with Tony, which was strange. I do know he keeps harping on about not revealing his identity when all he had to do was take a picture without his head holding up todays paper or something. But in true GH fashion he spins up all this extra drama...

See this is where this goes wrong. It's personal choice and it's also much more complex than what you've just posted and you should respect that. I've also explained before, numerous times. Solution - Simply take the tag and the karma away, it's that simple. Doesn't bother me, hence the previous comment.

From my perspective, you're confusing two issues and should stick to the topic. Probably at least partially due to the fact that you have very little of the story / information.
GH claimed to be someone he's not. Now everyone who doesn't post a pic has no credibility, (although enough in the past for you to pm about fairly complex drug use). I find that a little offensive personally. Don't tarnish everyone with the same brush due to life circumstances and personal choices. If you choose to discredit the information, that's obviously your choice but you're wrong to express it in the abrasive way you did in my eyes. Effectually after seeking my assistance.

About the "advice" that we discussed in pm. Well I discussed the same things with mutliple guys on here, other boards and in person...with all the info, I evaluated what was the best route to take. That's how I roll. I figured you may know a thing or two about what we discussed. Now you may feel flattered that you may know more than I on the issue and that's why you keep bringing it up. But in the ended up using a totally different protocol.
Unfortunately things like this Gearhead incident opens people's eyes and makes us all more careful who we take advice from.

You've clearly got some underlying issue with me as you're constantly just trying to make me look stupid or undermine me. I'm not sure why you feel the need to do that.
Not a bad idea, but I think the responsibility needs to lie in all of us to dig into members post and picture history if we plan to follow that members advice. Similar to "Buyer Beware". We cant protect everyone from their own careless decisions. This case is of course unique with Gearhead having so much history, but the majority of posers can be outed with a little digging, or at least we can see enough evidence to question their credentials.
